“Building drastically needs renovation. According to the employee, renovation will start in December. Beds are comfortable. There is a fridge, coffee maker, coffee, creamers and sugar. Bottle water and soft drinks can be bought at the reception.
Staff is very friendly. So, no complains:-)”

“Convenient shuttle, not far from the airport, clean comfortable room. Arrived late at night so I didn't really see the neighborhood. There is not a restaurant on the premises so best to dine before checking in. The next time I overnight in Anchorage I'll book another room.”

“Jewel Lake was a house style Bed and Breakfast. You make your own breakfast, but the kitchen was stocked well. Our room was in the basement with steep stairs so I don’t recommend those rooms for older travelers. There are rooms on the main floor of the house. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a short stay. Most people use it for cruise layover time. We took an Uber into Anchorage and did a tour which was fun too. ”

“Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!”

“I don't know if I'm entitled to use names in this review but I would like to say personally thank you to Jeff I'll leave out last names and just say that it was a wonderful stay and he made it very easy, accessible, and very comfortable for my stay at this Great North Lodging. To me personally it felt like a little taste of home in this nice very home homely apartment setting. Thank you so much great North lodging. +BROWN+”

“This place is a DUMP! Stayed one night to catch an early flight. In need of MAJOR renovation! Old musty carpets to old, and patchy paint, poor squeaky floors from one end to the other. If my wife was with me, I would have not stayed at all. Early morning shuttle was there and timely the next morning. Nut the only positive thing I can say! ”

“The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities that one might expect in a suite. The staff was wonderful & helpful - going out of their way both at checkin as well as during the stay. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to major roads and attractions. I would strongly recommend. And will stay again when next in Anchorage.”

“Spacious clean room with a kitchen. In Alaska in the summer it was nice to have effective blackout shades. Neighborhood is kind of a hotel ghetto. Not much in walking distance except other hotels.”

Ci hanno mostrato un documento da cui risultava la cancellazione fatta alle 11.30 di quello stesso giorno: non abbiamo ricevuto nessun avviso e abbiamo passato il resto del.pomeriggio a cercare una nuova sistemazione (ad un prezzo di oltre 240 $)perche' loro non avevano stanze disponibili e l'intera citta' era...
