“Apartment was not the one pictured. Mold all over the shower, walls and floor. Leaking bathroom sink. Busted up floors and wall in the main area. Broken falling curtains. Cheap pillows and uncomfortable bed. And to top it off the location wasn't even that good. ”

“The location is great as it is right next to Landmark 81. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I was booked for 8 days and there was maid service available. It has a kitchen with microwave, hot water pot and full fridge. A/C is super strong and COLD. The view is really nice and the unit was on thr 48th floor. There are plenty of 24/7 convenience stores and nearby restaurants. Just book grab cars or scooters to get around.”

Before arrival we were asked to send passport details through WhatsApp, and several messages were later deleted, which raised concerns for us from the beginning. When we arrived, front desk staff refused assistance and directed us to communicate only with the owner/host. We also noticed signage suggesting short-term stays may not be permitted in the building. “Property is dirty. Everything is outdated. We are 2 people staying for 6 nights but bathroom supplies were very poor with only 2 towels and one small roll of toilet paper, no extra trash bags. Got very slow response from host when asking for more towels, toilet paper and trash bags. Location is very far from central. Would not recommend this property to anyone. Not worth it for the money. ”

“Nice place. Overall comfortable and quiet. Good location. It was a little difficult getting into the elevators at times if a guard was not present. It is secure though. Elevators were very fast and quiet. There was some mold behind the bathroom sink on the caulking. Needs to be treated. I'll go for a larger place with a better view next time. Dirty/faded furniture, peeling paint, picture frames missing, fridge had broken shelves, rice cooker was absolutely disgusting(didn't use it), blinds were half functional, the list goes on. It was a place to sleep (albeit on dirty pillows) and nothing more. Just because it is in the Landmark 81 tower doesn't mean it is luxury. I have honestly stayed at waaaaaay nicer hotels for less in Vietnam”
