“The room was huge. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. The restaurant served delicious food. We liked the free wine tasting. We also liked that it was a very short 1 minute walk from the rooms to the restaurant and wine tasting. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are a little dated but are being updated. The pool area was easy to access for all rooms. It is located a few minutes drive from town.”

“I’ve stayed many times, it’s a lovely hotel, price is great . The variety of accommodation rooms is fantastic, the room decor is lovely and amenities are wonderful. The staff are always courteous and welcoming and the restaurant onsite is great for meals and a lovely venue to sit and meet friends for a chat or meals. Parking is always good Can not fault anything”

“We had a wonderful two night stay at hotel california. We were late to check in, however was seamless for us after hours to speak to staff and get the run down, checked into the room just as the sun was setting over the vineyards. A stunning place to stay, easily located with everything you need within 10 min drive. We hired bikes from SA E Bikes and got them dropped to the property, we rode around the local wineries all day and ended our day back here to do a tasting. ”

“Very comfortable bed and good shower. Good amenities close by. Room was freezing when we arrived, ancient heat pump took hours to adequately warm the room and was very noisy. Very limited info available, took until mid morning next day to find someone to give us the wifi password.”
