🛏️The Space:

This 2 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Split Level Ocean View condo is situated within the private gated community of Litchfield By the Sea. Your stay at Sandpiper A-2S will be a beach vacation you will never forget! The entrance to this beach rental brings you into the top main level where you will find all the comforts and conveniences of home. Enjoy your favorite home-cooked meals from the unit's full kitchen, equipped with major appliances and cooking essentials like pots, pans and utensils. Dine at the kitchen bar, in the dining room area, or from your private balcony. Guests will enjoy lounging in the living room area, which features large furnishings, flatscreen television, and complimentary wireless Internet. This unit also features a washer & dryer to handle any laundry needs during your beach vacation. Main floor also includes a half bath. Lower level includes two guest bedrooms. Unit is accessible by elevator and parking is located under the building on the ground floor. 

Sleeping arrangements accommodate up to 4 guests and include:
-Master Bedroom: 1 King bed, attached bath with duel vanity and shower tub combo and private balcony. 
-Guest Room 1: 1 King bed and attached bath with shower tub combo.

Enjoyable Stay

The location is great, the surrounding area is fantastic, with tons of things to do. Just sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean was extremely peaceful. We enjoyed out stay. Having said that the unit could stand to be cleaned better than it was. Chip and cracker crumbs under chairs in main sitting area, staircase not vacuumed very well and rug under table not vacuumed well at all.

Great Location. Beautiful views

The resort was very nice. The unit is nicely furnished and comfortable. Some maintenance issues with the dish washer, drapes and shower that owner was very attentive to but on site management was slow to respond. Great views. Had a nice stay.

Terrible, dirty and out of date furnishings

Condo TVs did not work when we got there and neither did internet- took til day 2 to get them both working. Condo so dirty and furniture so soiled and dusty that we actually attempted to clean it ourselves morning of day 2 but neither vacuum cleaner worked . Also while sitting on sofa on day 2 condensation dripping on my shoulder and on sofa.. we were too embarrassed to have our friend who was coming to stay with us stay there and we were not comfortable staying there another day/ night so we checked out on day 2.. very very disappointed and we had bought tickets for 3 concerts at The Reserve which we did not get to go to any of the 3.. we asked check in desk to move us to nicer and cleaner place but nothing available so we drove 5 1/2 hours back to Asheville arriving home after midnight. Do not think we will return to Litchfield .. .

Very Enjoyable

Property was a great vacation spot for my spouse and me. Very relaxing. Enjoyed having 2 floors with bedrooms on the bottom floor (quieter at night). The only issue which was never fixed during the week we stayed there was that the main level’s sliding door to the balcony does NOT lock. That means the property was not secured from the outside. I reported this to the front desk, and they sent someone to fix it. But the next day, the door once again wouldn’t lock. This is an obvious security concern. I reported it to the front desk again when we checked out.

Pets

This property is listed as no pets allowed which I look for. However there was dog hair Everywhere which is very problematic for those of us with allergies. This is a huge issue as it creates breathing issues.
