Fantastic peaceful stay

My husband and I looked forward to our trip to Pawley’s Island for months and sincerely enjoyed our stay here. This is a perfect sanctuary tucked away just close enough to the beach, great restaurants, shopping, golf, Historic Georgetown, and more.

True Blue Golf Course

Great location. The condo was cute and is well suited for a family with children. The twin beds were set up for children, low to the ground and had rubber or plastic mattress cover. Not really comfortable for an adult or older child. Patio needed to be cleaned.

Hard to recommend

We’ve stayed at 3-4 different True Blue units I’ve the years, and this was by far the worst. Master bed is likely a full, not a queen, and was the most loud and uncomfortable bed we’ve ever had on vacation. Living room couch felt like you were going to sink into the floor. Cleaning staff did a good job and were easy to contact. Several kitchen cabinets wouldn’t close, including one under the sink with chemicals in it - not ideal when you have small children with you. Disappointing overall, wouldn’t recommend.

No motorcycles allowed

The condo was clean and welcoming. Had some problems with the front door lock trying to get it to work, but eventually figured it out. We were never told that there were not motorcycles allowed. We came out after our first night and found tickets on both of the motorcycles from the Hué warning that if we parked there again, they would tow our bikes. Needless to say. We had to check out and find another place to stay, which was a major inconvenience. No problem with the Evolve team or the owner. They were great to work with. However, the HOA is brutal.
