“The property is beyond old and salvageable. The windows don’t close, the curtains don’t close . The floor in the bedroom is disgusting. There are light bulbs that don’t work, the plugs in the bathroom don’t work. There are electrical connections on the floor to connect your hairdryer or anything else. No soaps in the bathroom and only two tiny towels if you shower. The bath doesn’t work and there is no heat in the room other than electric fans. The sheets are not ironed, the television doesn’t...

“Juliette was communicative about our stay and breakfast details. She was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and happy. The beds and pillows were excellent, as well as the shower. The office desk was perfect for working. Juliette's breakfasts were interesting, diverse and delicious. “We really enjoyed our stay for 2 nights at the Quarrystone Bed and Breakfast on Salt Spring Island. The breakfasts were amazing and would cost a lot at a restaurant !! They encouraged you to take muffins and pastries away to have later in the day. This allowed us skip lunch. The staff were wonderful ! The farm setting was lovely and we had an ocean view through the trees from our bottom floor unit. It was helpful to have a fridge in the room too! Room was very clean. The air conditioner...

“Pros: rural setting, large suite, comfortable bed Cons: need electrical upgrade as only one kitchen appliance could operate at a time. 4 large dogs live upstairs- when they get excited lots of running and barking.”

“Overall place was okay. Ideas to make things better. 1. There were no staff or contact numbers available to help and answer questions. 2. No descrption of where bedrooms and sleeping couches were. 3. The tv controller was missing so could not watch. 4. We had to search closets for bedding. 5. Didn't find the thermostat controls until next morning. These and other minor problems could be avoided if the was a printed orientation guide for all facilities. ”
