“Excellent stay! Would recommend to anyone wanting to see Coromandel, Hahei or the Hot Water Beaches for a night or two!”

“Our stay was great! Lots of details were taken care of. For example, kayaks, shovels for the hot water beach were and lots of kitchen tools were provided. Super thoughtful and lovely!”

“Fantastic place, charming, quiet, Terry a great host/owner; beautiful location 2.5 km walk to downtown Tairua but pitch dark at night, glad I had a reflector vest Basics in place for cooking, TV has Netflix, prime and good channels. Water across the street, complimentary kayaks and shovels for hot beach ( but I was late getting there) Great base to take off in day trips Definitely my go to should I ever return.”

“Loved this place, was very quiet and relaxing with the nice swimming area ( river ) for the kids . Lovely Hosts . The accommodation was nice , I stayed in the one bedroom cottage , it had everything we needed . Will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to friends and family . Older style accommodation but cosy and well equipped 👌. ”

“Stayed during the off season - Warmly welcomed by the proprietor. Adorable room in a quiet area with a wonderful view of the Firth of Thames on a very scenic property. Great sense of privacy and peace. Highly recommend, and will definitely stay again if we get to come back!”

“Excellent location, quiet and clean property. Property manager was friendly and provided local information.”

“The place was very roomy. It had large living area with clean well apointed kitchen. It was across the street from the ocean. We could park at our door. There was a nice pool. The reception was very helpful and offered us choices of things to to and resturants to visit. We are glad we stayed there. I personally liked the harder beds as too many places have sagging matresses. ”

“Very friendly, informative and helpful host. We stayed at 4 Buffalo Beach road (there is a sister property at 13, a short walk away). Right on the beach road (you only have to walk up the driveway to see the beach).
