“We stayed only one night therefore my opinion can be partial. The building is old and some parts should probably be renewed (elevator first!) but well kept in general. The room rather small but clean. WiFi is probably underdimensioned as I could not connect despite of the good signal, fortunately personel (all very kind) provided an alternative network. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I!
