“The rooms were nice with tall ceilings. However, the tall ceilings meant it was built with little insulation between floors. Yes, that means every step your upstairs neighbor took pounded through to your room below. I would suggest a top floor room, if that is an option. It's also concerning that the price of the room was 50% higher than a room outside of Philly or Boston for similar hotel (in one case both hampton's). This shouldn't be the case for Buffalo, but it fit our driving schedule...

“Our room was clean and convenient. We were sad the pool wasn’t open but thankful the staff allowed us access to the pool adjacent. Breakfast room was spacious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt safe and comfortable.”

“If I could give the staff more than 5 stars, I would. Especially front desk (and especially especially the gentleman who did my check out). Friendly, personable, helpful, and so, so kind. Great ambassadors for the city! The location was perfect for my needs (we had to visit the U.S. Passport Office). The room & furnishings were a wee bit tired (furniture battered, rug could use refreshing, shower/tub could use updating), but it was clean, comfortable, and not terribly expensive.”

“The property is being renovated, so the pool area was unavailable. Staff was great, the facility and our room was clean. The shower let more water out of the lower faucet than the shower head, but it worked as we were only overnighters. The continental breakfast was okay, looked for some eggs or protein, but breakfast sandwiches were the only source. That said, there were plenty of carb options!”

“The major pros : location - steps from Allentown gay village . Free outdoor parking . Charming hotel reminds me of being in an old fashioned movie. If you want modern etc don’t book here but if you’re after charm go for it. This hotel is kind of like an old apartment building but it’s a place to sleep and recoup.”
