“Previous reviews vary and it is fair to say the property is fairly dated and could do with some work, HOWEVER, the charm of the property and the exceptional service make up for this and more. We are well travelled and have stayed in some exceptional hotels around the world but the friendliness and especially the service was as good as any. After booking our three night stay, i asked if they could book a nice restaurant for our first night and albeit a busy friday they booked a table at the fat...

“Nice little complex, friendly staff and restaurant attached served up an excellent dish. Just down the road from wineries and easy access to main roads. We had to leave early for a flight and staff happily assisted with bringing us breakfast the night before. Easy drive to Cape Town airport. ”

Fomos atendidos maravilhosamente bem pelos proprietários, que foram muito simpáticos, agendaram wine tasting e também deram dicas para o jantar próximo à propriedade. O lugar é lindo, apartamento espaçoso e com uma vista incrível para os vinhedos e montanhas. Serviço de excelência altamente recomendado. ”

“No provision made with water supply when power went out due to loadshedding. You could not use the bathroom at all. NO extra drinking water in the room. Breakfast at restaurant was also not great. Sorry, not a good overall experience at all. It is situated in a beautiful area. ”

“The property is an a beautiful location however the décor is dated and tired and is terribly expensive for what is on offer. Service and food at the Bon Bon cafe on the property is terrible. Overall not a pleasant experience.”

“While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...
