“Property is beautiful, and felt like home. Owner was very responsive to last minute issues. Very close to the bus stop. Once you are in the COMO area, be ready to walk. The UBER, Taxi are not reliable at all and the bus service is very poor during the day, but runs free service at night after 7/730 pm, which is pretty regular and nice. Will stay here again on my next visit as well, may be will bring less luggage... lol.”

“L'appartamento mansardato al secondo piano della bella villa da noi affittato è comodo e carino. L'unico neo del posto, che ovviamente non toglie fascino all'appartamento, sono tutti gli scalini che vanno dalla strada al secondo piano della villa. Comunque esperienza positiva.”

“It was very hot when we were there and the AC was not very effective in living areas. Bedrooms were good at night time.”

“Pros: Het uitzicht is adembenemend. Het huis is groot en aan alle gemakken is gedacht! Zwembad, jacuzzi, sauna maar ook koekjes, koffie, wijn etc stond al op ons te wachten! Super gastvrij en een echte aanrader. Wij waren met 2 kinderen en een hond. Cons: De herrie van de jacuzzi (vooral ‘s avonds). Ik denk dat het om het verwarmen gaat. Maar ‘s avonds buiten zitten in stilte kon niet. Maar dat kon de pret niet drukken.”

“Nous avons passé un très agreable séjour.La maison est agréable à vivre.La vue est tès belle.Une suggestion installer une table exterieure pour dejeuner et un petit salon près de la cuisine .L 'acces au jardin et à la terrasse couverte n est pas facile lorsque les bras sont chargés.”

“Firstly, the hosts were incredibly communicative as we had a few issues we had to navigate. One, the description of the property didn't match what we received. We booked through Expedia which was where the discrepancy in the number of bathrooms showed up. We verified later that other listings only showed one bathroom. For this reason, I'm putting blame on Expedia. The second issue we had was a leaky air conditioning unit that dropped water on the sofa bed. We resolved this by moving the bed away...

“We loved this lovely apartment. It was very clean with all the amenities. The views were breathtaking! There was a heat wave while we were there and the air conditioning was such a welcomed relief. Carla our host was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a car and were able to park on premises. It is a hike down to Varenna and if you drive the road is very narrow with many sharp turns but so worth it !”

“The apartment was spacious, even with the extra bed they kindly put up for us so that our son could visit. Don't under estimate the steepness of the climb to the apartment! We walked up in the rain from the train station with luggage. The short cut paths will save you some time but the cobbles are very slippy when wet. However the view from the balcony when the rain cleared made it worthwhile, it must be the best view we have ever had from a holiday home!Our only issue was the bed, it was creaky...

“Our room overlooks the mountains, but the view you can admire from the terrace is truly fantastic.We went to visit the nearby castle and it was truly fantastic to walk through the woods to reach it.We will definitely return in the summer to do some excursions on the lake.A greeting to the hosts who have always been available and kind.See you soonMarco”
