“This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the loft, taking in the view as well as exploring the town and other towns in the Lake Como are. Communication with the hosts...

“The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. “Toller Ausblick auf den Comer See, Haus zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sauber, alles da was man braucht, Einkaufen in naher Umgebung möglich, war wie beschrieben, Pool nutzbar (Oktober), tolle Städtchen zum bummeln, Kommunikation mit Vermieter top, hatte immer einen Tipp parat. Einziger Wermutstropfen: relativ kalt bei Anreise (Oktober, es hatte 12-15 Grad draussen), das lies sich allerdings mit Ofen und Heizung nach 2-3 Tagen angenehm gestalten. Gerne wieder.”
