“The accommodation at Varenna Sweet Home exceeded all expectations. We were warmly greeted by Attilio on arrival and was pleasantly surprised at the presentation of the villa. The villa is located at an easy walking distance from the train station, the lakes shoreline and the beautiful town of Varenna. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Lake Como.”

“Great appartement in a charming small village (Perledo) above Varenna.Super clean, comfortable, excellent beds, the appartment looks brand new and you feel it home very quickly. The owner provides a lot of information before the arrival and was very reactive as we had a couple of questions during the stay. The only issue we had was the 4h time limit for the parking nearby which prevents you from letting the car the whole day (and parking in Varenna is very difficult during summertime)...Access...

“Absolutely fantastic stay. From initial communications to personal meet and brief by Paolo made arrival process welcoming and thorough. The location was perfect for travel in or away from Varenna. The kitchen was well stocked with snackies and a welcome bottle of wine. The loft overlooking the lake was a fabulous retreat after a day exploring the lake. Can’t recommend highly enough. ”

“Toller Ausblick auf den Comer See, Haus zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sauber, alles da was man braucht, Einkaufen in naher Umgebung möglich, war wie beschrieben, Pool nutzbar (Oktober), tolle Städtchen zum bummeln, Kommunikation mit Vermieter top, hatte immer einen Tipp parat. Einziger Wermutstropfen: relativ kalt bei Anreise (Oktober, es hatte 12-15 Grad draussen), das lies sich allerdings mit Ofen und Heizung nach 2-3 Tagen angenehm gestalten. Gerne wieder.”

“The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. That being said, we did thoroughly enjoy our stay and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The entrance to the property and parking weee a bit...

“We hebben genoten van een paar dagen in Gitanna. Het is een heerlijk en overcompleet huis. Het dorpje is heerlijk en historisch waar je doorheen kan slenteren en een wijn drinken en een hapje eten. Het comomeer is op op 8 minuten rijden. Het uitzicht vanuit het dorp is prachtig.”
