It is located very close to the local bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the train station. The self check-in process was simple, although the instructions we were sent had the wrong box described for our apartment, but it was self explanatory once we got there as the boxes are all lettered. “The loft was spacious and conveniently situated within walking distance of the ferry ports and main road. There were two HVAC units for the space so temperature remained comfortable. The front door is like a bank vault; very secure. The only issue was the furniture was not comfortable or clean but we spent very little time inside.”

“The apartment was amazing! AC worked well and the host Marco was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 of us and the patio was great to lounge on and look at the beautiful lake and mountains. It is on a busy road so you can’t walk to town. Taxis are really expensive ( I don’t recommend using Donicar, he charged us 30 to go to town 2 km away), rent a car if you can there is a parking garage in Varenna.The little beach was the highlight of our stay.
