“Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. “Ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Häuschen in einer wunderschönen kleinen Faja an der Südostseite von São Jorge. Auf der Anfahrt gut einkaufen und ein Mietauto sind sehr hilfreich. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Lage sehr gut zum Baden im Meer im Naturschwimmbecken im kleinen Hafen, fußläufig in 3min erreichbar. Wunderbare Sitzecke mit Blick aufs Meer.”

“We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals.”

“We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. Our host Marco was very accommodating as were the owners of the property. We highly recommend this house on Faial.”

“Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace listening to and watching the birds, lizards and bats and watching sunsets. The acommadation is good with a pleasant lounge, and a basic but satisfactory kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dark unless you open the door, and would benefit...
