“The service was very good, the place was clean, and they keep the beach very well maintained. The atmosphere is calm and family‑friendly. The only aspect that might be negative for some people is that they don’t allow coolers on the beach or for you to bring your own umbrellas. But they do rent umbrellas and chairs, so for me it wasn’t a problem. Overall, the place is highly recommended. My family and I loved it.”

“The room was a good size, with a fridge and microwave. Having a guide for the TV channels was helpful. There are so many good points--great location right on the beach, a tiki bar, hammocks, and an on-site restaurant. We enjoyed every minute we were here--the staff made us feel like we were very much appreciated guests.”

“I ended up not staying at this property because the condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon entering, there was a strong moldy smell. I tried turning on the air conditioning to see if it would improve the odor, but it did not help. The room itself appeared unclean. The desk was dirty, the toilet had not been properly cleaned, the mirror was visibly dirty, and the bed looked as though someone had started making it but never finished. Even the hand soap had already been opened, which raised...

“The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The linens were not soft, but the beds were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The lounge chairs have no cushions and it made it difficult to spend time at the pool sunning. I was told by the manager they have been ordered. The rooftop could use more furniture aside from two benches. All in all, it was a fun few days despite cloudy weather and a drizzly day. No fault of the Shalimar Resort.”

“The view from balcony was very peaceful. All rooms have water view. Room was very clean. Although I did not use- breakfast is available for guest at the 3 Fisherman restaurant. Will stay again on my next trip back to Fla. Price was reasonable”

“This place was wonderful! The host is quick to respond to any questions. Cleanliness excellent. The kitchen has anything and everything you could possibly need. We would highly recommend It. Also is a convenient location to the beaches and downtown Cape Coral. We lived in Fort Myers and Cape Coral before hurricane Ian so we were familiar with the area. It’s also located in a very nice neighborhood. Thankyou for a great stay🍊☀️”
