It was clean and with the key code front door, it was super easy for our older kids to come and go as they pleased. It was 2 blocks from the ocean and so close to a bunch of restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere with no issues. It was clean and having a garage was really nice for all our beach toys and bikes. We had no problem parking...

“We were in town with family for a memorial service and this house worked perfectly. It is very well stocked and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop with fire pit. My only complaint is the kitchen table is very small for a group.”

We were so impressed with the home and host from check in to check out that we will definitely return. Everything was in perfect working order and the host was quick to answer any questions.”

“Property was well appointed, very clean and most comfortable. Communicating with the owner was very easy and she was most helpful in making suggestions for our stay. There were extra touches that made it like a home away from home - small shampoos/conditioners/lotions, tissues on night stands, etc. And the kitchen had all that's needed. “We had a great stay here, only one night so we didn't get to explore Grover Beach much. We were SO pleased that the bed we slept on was great! We had a pleasant take-out dinner with our daughter in the dining room, and walked our dog around the neighborhood, and had coffee down the block. This place had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We will call upon Melany and Jon again to stay here.”

“Here is my review and I would give the rental 4 stars. I would expect some nice amenities in order to give them 5 stars and this place had the bare minimum so didn't qualify for a top notch review. Nice, bright and airy space overall. The home was clean and the location is good. The beds are comfortable. The coffee service was excellent. However, there are some deficiencies that should be addressed: house was over-perfumed with plug in air fresheners only 4 ceramic dinner plates in a house...

“Good location to golf courses, wineries, and restaurants. Property itself could have been a bit cleaner i.e., countertops were a bit sticky, and the coffee pot was dirty. However, no clutter and everything was neat. Called the property manager our last day to inform her that the master bedroom bathroom fan needed to be repaired.”

“My family absolutely loved this cute house! The location was perfect for us to travel back and forth to Cal Poly SLO. The beds were comfortable, the shower was amazing, and although we didn’t cook much the kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts were wonderful and communicated well, and check-in (and out) was a breeze. Would definitely come back for another stay!!”

The home is a little noisy as the stairways are open - on the first floor we could hear folks talking on the third due to open stairways. Rooftop balcony is great for picnics and enjoying the view.
