We had an amazing stay at Villa Picon just after Christmas! Luis was great with communication before and during the stay. Nico and Ana are amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed plus kept the house in great shape - the daily housekeeping was such a nice touch, especially with a toddler and 2 kids. The kitchen is very well equipped and we really appreciated all the Tupperware for leftovers and cut fruit. As others have mentioned, the private pool and beach are amazing! The pool was a little cool for us so we mostly hung out in the hot tub which Nico did a great job keeping warm. The pictures don’t do it justice, especially the outdoor space which has a large outdoor sectional that we spent most evenings playing games. The Villa is perfect for families traveling with little kids or multiple families wanting a remote, relaxing vacation! We’ll definitely be back!

We just got home from an amazing trip to Villa Picon. The pool and direct beach front setting is stunning. We had 8 adult family members with us and everyone had their own space. The beds were comfortable and the mini splits created the perfect white noise for sleeping, especially when the younger crew stayed up late. The kitchen is large and easy to use and has everything we needed for a family who loves to cook. They have a bottled water dispenser so we could enjoy fresh water all week.You will need a rental car to get around. Puerto Morales is 12 minutes away for grocery runs. The caretakers were kind and helpful. They only speak Spanish, so it is best if you can too. We hired them one night to make us a feast of grilled fish and beef over a charcoal grill. Magical moments at this property included us witnessing baby turtles hatch in front of the villa, watching the Geminid meteor showers (45 shooting stars ), and swimming and body surfing daily in the 83 degree ocean. The sun rises directly in front of the house! They have extra snorkeling gear, water shoes and boogie boards. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The Villa was cleaned daily for us. The owner was always responsive to any questions I had.We would absolutely come back to the Villa Picon. I'm including some pics.

Book this now and don’t think twice

Villa picon is the best rental I’ve stayed at! You can’t beach the large pool and beachfront. The service from the house staff is incredible. The beds are so comfortable and the house has great A/C. The bathrooms feel luxurious out of a spa. Cannot recommend this property anymore!

What a treat!

This is our second time staying at this property, our first time we enjoyed the privacy of the location, the service, the installations with a beach and pool all for ourselves. We had to come back! This time, it was even better. Nico and Anita are always so gracious , she prepared breakfast for us everyday (worth the extra fee), and made us a so rf and turf bbq that was as good as any ot the top notch restaurants around the area. We will keep coming back. Thank you for a delicious stay.

Little piece of paradise

Everything about the house was incredible. We had questions about the hot tub and Nico was there immediately. One of the TVs broke and we had a new one that day. I’d highly recommend having Ana cook for you a couple of nights. She was amazing to work with and she made some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had. We will be back.

Fantastic property!!!

Villa Picon was spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the villa offered a great blend of comfort, authentic Mexican feel and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The location could not have been better - just steps away from the beach making it ideal for early morning walks and lazy days in the beach chairs.The villa itself was spacious and the open concept living areas gave a feeling of airy spaciousness, with large windows that brought the outdoors in!We especially loved the outdoor pool area, perfect for family gatherings and watching the waves crash in the distance.Nico & Ana were exceptional - friendly, professional and always on hand to assist with any requests!Ana cooked for us several nights, I’d highly recommend this….. and she makes the best guacamole!!!Overall, our family had an unforgettable stay at Villa Picon. It was the perfect place to relax, reconnect and recharge!Thanks and we will be back soon

An unbelievably perfect vacation!

We LOVED our 6 days at Villa Picon! The pictures and descriptions don’t do it justice- it is even better in person. My husband and I went with our two girls, ages 4 and almost 2. All of us loved having the beach and pool right at our doorstep, and it made it convenient for midday naps with the youngest as the rest of us could still be outside having fun. The house is extremely spacious and very clean, and Anna’s daily housekeeping makes you feel pampered. The master bedroom is huge (the entire top floor!) and had my favorite views. Every space has effective air conditioning (older reviews mentioned it could be hot).We caught sunset and sunrise, found tons of conch shells, and enjoyed smaller ocean waves. I only wished we had been there for turtle hatching season! The house is also in close proximity to Playa Del Carmen, so it’s easy to make a trip to town for groceries, restaurants, shipping, etc. I definitely recommend renting a car.Lastly, we had Anna cook us dinner on two nights. Her ceviche was the best I’ve ever had!!!Thank you, Nico and Anna, for an unforgettable trip! We will be back!

Amazing and beyond!

We are a family of 7 adults. The villa is exactly what we were looking for: each couple/single with their own bedroom and bathroom, on the beach with a pool and fully stocked kitchen. I read a lot so knew exactly what to expect. The villa is not walking distance to anything. We chose to not have a car and to stay at the villa, with one day trip planned to Isla Mujeres. We hired Ana to get the groceries prior to our arrival so when we arrived it was stocked. We hired a private chef to come in and make nightly dinners, for which he brought his own groceries. This kept us from having to leave and hire a taxi to go shopping. We appreciated the privacy and cleanliness. Ana and Nico were there everyday for daily housekeeping and pool maintenance. They were awesome. The hot tub was only luke-warm until day 5, but to Nico’s credit he was on it everyday. The beach in this location is among the best along the Mayan riviera. We have stayed in many all-inclusive resorts in these areas over the last 20 years and love this beach. It should be noted that the villa’s entrance is located off the main highway with a security guard. Once you pass through, it’s a very long bumpy road to get to the villa. But of course if you are looking to have a relaxing secluded stay and not leave very often, it’s a piece of paradise. Thankfully the villa attached to the left was unoccupied so we had complete peace and quiet. We would stay there again with a big group for sure. Thank you Luis!

I meticulously planned this trip to Playa del Carmen to celebrate my grandfather's birthday, booking our accommodations nearly a year in advance to ensure that every detail was perfect. I had high hopes for this special occasion, envisioning a wonderful getaway for my family. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, I was disheartened to discover that the property management had no record of our reservation for that date. As a result, the house was not clean or prepared for our stay, which was incredibly disappointing. The staff at the property were generally helpful and friendly, and even their dog added a warm touch to the atmosphere. To make amends for the oversight, we were issued a refund for one night's stay. However, we faced the uncomfortable situation of having to spend our first night in a house that was not up to our expectations of cleanliness and comfort. It was particularly embarrassing for me to present such inadequate accommodations to my family, especially considering the effort I had put into planning this memorable celebration.

Romantic honeymoon hideaway

Loved the seclusion of this beautiful property for our honeymoon. It felt like we had the beach to ourselves and the house was just beautiful. Ana and Nico were wonderful and so helpful. If you are thinking of having Ana cook for you, I’d highly recommend it. She is a great cook! We had chicken tostadas, beef fajitas and fish tacos. Her guacamole and pico were very delicious as well. We weren’t sure if we should rent a car or rely on car services. If we were to do this again, we would definitely rent a car. It would make things much easier. I would stay here again if given the chance. Thank you, Luis for hosting us in such a beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Picon. The property is palatial and stunning, the property is so well cared for by both Anna and Nicholas. Anna kindly made some amazing guacamole and chips for our arrival. The place is huge and nice for our boys to have their own rooms. The boys enjoyed both the kayaks and the boogie boards and the pool was stunning!
