“This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. If open do not miss out on the rooftop lounge...

“Stayed here as we were visiting Six Flags New England. Hotel was clean, Staff were very nice, Check in and check out were easy. Had a really nice breakfast selection and nice dining area. Good value for the money.”

“Farmington Inn is quaint and has a mature person feel. The room was older and smelled like a nursing home yet it was clean and served the purpose. There was a small laundry room fire while we were there. Luckily, I was in my room and evacuated me and my dog safely. I questioned if they would have gone in to get my dog if I were not there. That question remains unanswered. I’d stay again. It was close to the interstate and food options and some of the most beautiful walks. ”

“We loved the hotel’s old country elegance and the estate like setting at the foothills of Avon mountain. The beautifully wood paneled tavern room served excellent dinner with live music. Breakfast was served in the bright and airy dining room with an atrium like setting. Our room was very spacious by today’s standards and beautiful. Great for a weekend getaway.”
