“Carpark numbers need repainting as it was difficult to find my carpark. Also the guest that came in after 11.30pm couldn't find hers abd woke most of us up yelling to find who had accidently parked in her car park 😳”

“Due to new management, we were informed on our check in that the lodge was undergoing upgrading and revamping of their accommodation. Staff was very friendly addressing me by my name which was lovely. Our room was very accommodating, with 2 brand new recliners, large spacious bed, kitchen facilities, lovely hot water for our showering so overall, we enjoyed our stay at a very affordable rate. We will definitely stay there again, and look forward to seeing the finishing touches to the property.”

“No wall oven or extractor fan in kitchen which limited cooking options/made it a bit difficult to cook - advertised as full kitchen so was expecting this but also should have looked at photo. Some road noise at night as right next to road. Very warm and cosy.”

“No complaints. Staff are lovely, attentive, informative & helpful. Place was clean. Love the basics that are provided with the spot. Free wifi and parking. To my surprise there was an iron & dryer provided too. Bed comes with electric blanket but our one wasn’t working although we didn’t care. There’s a microwave, pots, stove, mini fridge. Love that there’s a heat pump in the room. Good middle spot between Lowerhutt and Petone. Definitely a good spot, if you have no where to go, are...

The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!”
