The house itself is beautifully decorated to give you that "I'm on vacation at the beach" vibe. “Perfect size for two people. If the weather had cooperated I would have loved to try the spacious outdoor shower. Maybe the next time. The walk to the beach is as listed. However, we drove and parked along a side street due to the heat, to shorten the walk. Norfolk is an easy drive and several other tourist stops are within a couple hours drive. ”

“Check in was great after i got the right cottage (4 on the property.)very quaint, very sparce o. The amenities... extra trash can & maybe a table lamp in the living room. 1 brite overhead light! “Great stay, the house is very conveniently located (50 feet to the beach, 0.5 mile to a Harris Teeter). There's some beach stuff (chairs, a beach cart, an umbrella, a few body boards). A few things to consider when renting this house:1. Bring a few knives. The ones that are there are super dull2. Bring spices, sugar, and salt 3. There's no AC in the smaller bedroom. “We had a great time! House was very clean. Very accurate to what we saw in the listing. Almost everything was within walking distance: 2 blocks to Main St which had great restaurants/shops/ice cream, 3 blocks to the beach, and 1 block to a great public park for dog walking, soccer, playground, and fountain with splash pad. “This is the reservation to get if you want to stay in Virginia. We absolutely loved it. It does not hurt that it has the most beautiful backyard with the most incredible view of the water.
