“Stupendous and will go back again. The rooms are very spacious with a great view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door was fantastic with large portions and fantastic food. We did not have time to walk around the town, but drove through and it is extremely charming.”

“I can get nit picky but I'm not going to. For the money this was a very quiet stay in a clean room with excellent owners who are super friendly. My only critiques are please have an outlet near the side of the bed to charge my phone and to offer stream service to log into rather than cable TV. The lights outside our room were so bright that my room never got dark and it made it difficult to sleep. I would stay here again when passing through Norfolk.”

“Breakfast was decent each day with selection of carbs, eggs, turkey and pork sausage, etc. Coffee machine was scalding hot though. Clean and comfortable beds, site maintained, would stay again!”

“The Hampton Inn was in a very good place to be able to visit the sights in the area. We spent the day at Busch Gardens which was about a 10 minute ride. We were exceptionally close to the historic part or the old restored town of Williamsburg which we didn't even realize until we accidentally drove into it. Perhaps the Inn might like to have a paper that describes what you can see in the area. They did have other useful information available like restaurant names which we used. Other Hampton...

“Very old property, not really kept well. Rust in the freezer, not properly maintained. Needs upgrades”

“We stopped here on the last night of a cross country drive. The lobby was neat and clean. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful, informing us on the in house offerings for dinner and drinks as well as other nearby options. The dinner was just ok, but saved us a trip out to find something. The bartender and restaurant staff were also nice and courteous. Our room was neat and clean. “Awful mildew smell in hallways. Completely dirty carpeting and walls on the 4th floor. THE SMELLLLL!!! Elevators were so hot. No certificate in elevator either. Room was clean. Tile flooring throughout. Bathroom sink outside the bathroom. Shower was good but bathroom was so small and cramped with no place to hang towels at all. Breakfast was NOT GOOD. COLD. French toast was hard as a rock at 630 am. How? Knats everywhere as well as flies.”

“The property has a great all inclusive breakfast and also love the fact that they have an outdoor pool since the neighboring hotel doesn't. I've stayed here in the past when visiting family near by and haven't been disappointed. Also I want to thank the two front desk employees Michelle and Tyrese, for understanding my situation and being super accommodating to my needs. You guys rock!!! See you all again in the near future.”

“We got there at 1 am and there was no one at the front desk, so I had to walk to hotel next door to get assistance. There was stuff floating in the toilet. Mold on the ceiling in the shower. The shower curtain rack was about to fall and curtain wouldn’t stay. Hair stuck to the walls of the tub so it doesn’t appear the bathroom was properly cleaned. The bed was nice and comfy and AC worked. We only slept there and left early the next morning.”

“Hotel is due for a renovation”

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. My only disappointment was that the website and motel still advertised a swimming pool. The pool was closed and had not been opened this year at all. Not sure the problem or why it was not open. If they are not going to have a pool open for guest when it is 100 degrees outside they really need to remove that from the website or state that it is currently closed. Had I know this it would have changed my reservation....
