Hidden Gold - Gulf Coast Getaway

Enjoy this family friendly newly constructed beach cabin located in the highly desired neighborhood of Lafitte's Landing. This property is ideal for family beach getaways and boast 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms.
Property is equipped with all new high end finishes that will make your visit feel like you are at home. Property is fully stocked with kitchen appliances and all cooking utensils, bed linens,
& bath towels. Home has private washer & dryer as well as a dishwasher. Location is just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Beach can be accessed from the community. Local grocery stores, gas stations,
and restaurants are just a short drive away as well. We look forward to hosting your stay while you relax in our Gulf Coast Getaway

Great house!

We stayed at the house for a girls' vacation. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. The house is a very short walk to the beach so we did not need to rent a golf cart, which was money saved. We did have to buy toilet paper and paper towels. I had read about this issue in a previous review so it wasn't a huge surprise. Also, the remote control for the t.v. in the living room did not have batteries, so we were shuffling remote batteries. The biggest issue was that we did not have the key to the garage so we couldn't access the equipment stored there. I messaged the property manager to let him know. We never did get the keys, so that was kind of disappointing because we wanted to grill and could have perhaps used some of the beach equipment in the garage. Overall though the stay was fantastic!

Fun getaway!!

Overall we had a great time here at Hidden Gold. Everything was clean and had plenty of amenities. The beds are really firm - which I like but my friends not so much. Just FYI! We had some trouble checking in because we never got information. We had to wait about 30 minutes from initially reaching out (a message on VRBO and several phone calls later while sitting on the porch) and finally getting in. After that, we had an amazing trip!

Very clean and great location

Only had 3 spoons, not enough was cloths and only left us 4 trash bags. Other than that it was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

No beach access and we ran out of toilet paper, stores were supper crowded, as we had already brought everything we needed. 3.5 cheap rolls for 6 people for 4 days is not enough. No other complaints. Kitchen, laundry and garage were fully stocked.

Exactly what was advertised

The property was new and in pristine condition. The setup of the home was perfect for my family. The location was a very short walk to and from the beach. One suggestion would be for you to list the extras you gave us access to, because I wouldn’t have packed so much. There were beach towel, beach toys and chairs, etc., and in the living room there was an assortment of games. I loved that each room had a remote to control lights and fans. If I had to pick on anything, I would have preferred that the entire driveway was concrete. I would still give it a 10/10.

Wonderful condo!

We loved everything about this condo! It was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need.. tons of chairs & beach toys for the kids and also a grill! It was absolutely perfect for my husband, our 2 YO, my mom & me. We’ve already decided this will be our new spot to rent year after year. Host was very responsive as well.

Excellent

This was by far the cleanest, nicest cabin we have ever rented. When we walked in it looked like no one had ever even rented it before - it was spotless. It was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay (kitchen gadgets, sheets, extra pillows, cleaning supplies, bathroom essentials, etc.). They even had beach toys for the kids in the garage downstairs, along with a gas grill. The cabin does face the road instead of the beach, but it worked out perfect because my son was able to watch all the boats go through the ship channel and he loved it!! The rental company/owner (not sure who it was) was very accommodating and communicated with us before our stay to let us know all the necessary information we needed before our stay. 10/10 reccommend this cabin!
