The Beach House Port Douglas

Situato in una tranquilla cull-de-sac a soli 100 metri dalla famosa spiaggia di quattro miglia. Grande casa di famiglia con tre camere da letto, due bagni, recentemente rinnovata e ristrutturata, situata in un'oasi tropicale privata con stile laguna in piscina a terra. Tutti i comfort moderni, tra cui macchina da caffè, lavastoviglie, panche in pietra, grande TV LCD a schermo piatto con Austar, DVD, Internet a banda larga, aria condizionata, ampie zone soggiorno e pranzo. Con una grande terrazza coperta all'aperto con vista sulla piscina e sui giardini, Lorikeet on Coral è il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi lanciando alcuni gamberi locali sul barbecue e godersi un bicchiere di vino e un buon libro.

Solo una breve passeggiata al Solander Park con il suo parco giochi per bambini che porta alla spiaggia rende le vacanze con i più piccoli facili e rilassanti

Had a great stay in Port Douglas. The house is very spacious and allows a family to spread out or come together. Beach access is wothin walking distance. do

Location was good and neighbourhood quiet. While the beds were comfortable and outdoor space and pool were nice, there were many issues with the property which made our stay not as good as we had expected. Brian was good with communications but there seemed a lack of upkeep and general cleanliness with athe property. Many appliances were suboptimal from the microwave only working in 15 sec bursts, fridge freezing some of our food, cooktop not completely functional , and the washing machine did not work at all. The TV is not large at all as described on the listing but worked OK. The property needs a good overhaul to bring it up to scratch. Only 2 tea bags found in a cupboard for 4 of us for a week and no shampoo and conditioner (we assumed as with other homes there would be some) and only 4 rolls of toilet paper. Some electrical issues were the result of heavy rain it seems. Despite the issues, Brian was being helpful and we enjoyed our time in Cairns overall.

Pool could be more user friendly by adding a ladder for easier access in and out. Lighting is pretty poor throughout…maybe upgrade to LED. Installation of an outdoor fan would be helpful in summer.

We loved the open plan layout and pool, great location near 4 mile beach. So tropical and quiet, very relaxing and a few minutes drive to the main street.

The house is perfect for relaxing by the pool and is only a short walk to the beach. Great for families. Brian was an excellent communicator and we really enjoyed our stay. 5 stars.

Really enjoyed our stay at ‘Lorikeet on Coral’. Brian was really friendly and responsive to any queries we had. The house was perfect for our large family and the pool got regularly used. Highly recommended for those wanting to see the sights of port Douglas and norther Queensland

Loved the house, the pool was beautiful with pool towels provided as well as your bathroom towels. Brian was excellent to converse with. Also loved having the coffee machine in the house. Nice to have the use of ceiling fans rather than just the aircon. Overall amazing place and we would love to go back again!

Easy check in process. Everything within the house was as listed. The pool and outdoor area was everything we wanted for a getaway from the cold NSW winter. Really enjoyed staying. Thanks Brian.

This home had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We liked the quiet neighborhood and were happy to find great restaurants within walking distance. The home is short distance from the main hub in Port Douglas, but offered the escape we were looking for. Clean, well stocked and great communication from the host.

Good location, excellent swimming pool and well stocked with equipment etc. However, the property and fittings are looking a bit tired and in need of a bit of TLC. For example dining room chairs need replacing.

Good 3 bedroom option with deck area and pool. Well presented. Bit out of town but quiet and close to beach for walking. There is a shuttle option or taxi service which we found reliable. Owners very easy to deal with.
