I cannot tell you how scary this place was. Literally, there were drug dealers and addicts swarming the campus from the time I checked in, to 1 am when I returned from my business engagement. If I were you, I would not list this hotel on your site. I had to step over addicts passed out on the steps and was being watched by multiple people, not guests, whenever I got into and out of my vehicle. It was mortifying.

The lady that works in the office is the best part about this hotel. She's very nice and understanding. The first thing I noticed when I pulled up was the amount of people outside; most were smoking weed and some were walking around aimlessly, obviously high. Someone was playing loud music from their car. After getting to my room; I noticed that the latch to lock the door was missing so I went to request another room; which was granted. After entering that room, I noticed that there was hair all over the sink and dog urine on the floor. At that point, I was over it so I asked for a refund. The manager had an attitude but he gave me my money back. One thing to note is that you have to pay a $25 refundable pet deposit.

Worst Motel 6 I Ever Stayed At

The room had dirty towels, TV didn't work, shower knob kept falling off, bed head board was loose and broken. This was room 211. In 5 days the room was never cleaned, trash never taken out, and never any fresh towels. I actually went out and bought some because the ones provided were filthy. Sketchy people partying, playing loud music all hours of the night. Trash was shattered everywhere outside.

Worst motel ever

Worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. Very scary part of town. The pool covered with tarp in August. Charged $50 deposit after paying for room online. Only 1 pillow on 2 full beds. The air conditioning hardly worked. Bathroom door wouldn’t even close. Shower and tub too dirty and rusty to use. TV would not turn off. I could go on but you get the idea, find another place to stay!

Don’t stay here!!!

I spent 3 months traveling across the country couple years ago. I stayed at a few Motel 6 and they were all fine places. This was not the case at this Motel 6! Upon seeing it on the street the Motel 6 sign was decrepit, the pool had a tarp over it as if it was winter(it’s August!). The check in was exceedingly slow. I found later when I got an alert from Citi bank that a charge of $69.47 was made by the front desk clerk tho had already paid thru Hotels.com. Went back to the office in evening and night person said the earlier clerk had credited it! HE NEVER TOLD ME WHAT HE HAD DONE! Also of course I haven’t seen the credit yet! I have filed a dispute with Citi. Also the clerk asked for a $50 deposit. A reputable hotel does not do that!! Of course I haven’t seen that credit either! The room: oh boy! It was clean however it had nothing in it! A large bed with two tiny pillows, one small kitchen type chair, no chest of drawers, no hangers, and no ice bucket! And the tv was a mess! A very helpful woman came by to work on it but the fix did not last long no matter what I did. In sum a perfect room for monk! I would suggest Hotel.com STOP listing this place!! The only good thing(and why I chose it) is that it is walking distance to Olde Towne and downtown restaurants. But while there I noticed others nearby that gave the appearance of a MUCH BETTER establishment!

Just wow!

My family booked 2 rooms one for my Aunt who experienced a terrible night. It’s a good thing she and her fiance were together or else she may have had a heart attack. Someone at her door was knocking and also the windows. When she saw a guy wearing black around 11;00pm and then another guy knocked around 1&2:00am! When she called the frontdesk the lady said just don’t open the door. And when I confirmed with her around 3:00am she said she did not see anyone at their cctv.

Unfortunately the property is a bit sketchy. The rooms say smoke free but smell of intense stale tobacco. Wasn’t worth the savings.

Scared customer

I booked two rooms, one is for my Aunt who is 64 years old. She got so horrified when some started knocking on her door at around 12 midnight until 2:30 am three different persons! They also knocked on the window. She take a peek and saw “a scary man” she described she called the front desk but the lady said she did not see anyone thru the cctv but she called the police.

The only bad thing about this stay is that I was charged when I got there after paying on the app and when trying to explain this to the front desk person she wasn’t trying to hear me.

Really just booked this room because it was cheap. Not sure if a it’s temporary shelter but it was people chillin outside their rooms like we were in the hood. One got was in the stairwell scared the creep outta me bummin for change. The motel have real shady, junkie vibes..

This was the worst experience I have had at a hotel/motel. When I arrived in the room, I had been traveling so I went straight to the bathroom. The tub faucet was dripping heavily. I tried to turn the faucet off, but that did not stop the dripping. I went to the office and told the front desk person about this and he told me that it was OK. I explained that no it was not because I would have to sleep with that dripping noise. He then asked if I had done anything in the room. Being a bit confused by this question, I stated I had only gone to the bathroom and that’s how I had discovered the dripping faucet. He then stated he could just put me in another room. Upon entering this new room, the TV was on but the volume was almost off. I tried to change the channel, and turn the volume up, but the remote did not work. The TV was mounted on the wall, and I am short, so I couldn’t reach any biting on the tv. I did not feel safe here. I was in town to visit my son and his family so I went to his home and returned close to midnight. Upon entering the room for the night, I saw a roach and killed it and then saw another one in the bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom, I went to adjust the air and saw another roach. I went back to the bed and saw a fourth roach between the beds. I should have left then, but it was too late at night. I could hear people outside all night. It seemed like a place where people were living. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
