We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our hosts were extremely attentive and gracious, serving us breakfast every morning with delicious food. The Villa was sparkling clean and decorated with great taste and amenities. We would definitely return

Beautiful oasis in Positano

Honestly one of our favourite stays ever. The hosts are extremely generous and helpful. The breakfast each morning (provided for free) is better than you will get at a restaurant. Be sure to visit their family restaurant which is a short walk from the accommodation - the most delicious food and great value for money with one of the best views in Positano. Such a comfortable stay - it was so hard to leave. Ps they also have a cute cat and dog.

Hillside paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Laura! The owners were wonderful and made us feel very comfortable and at home. Breakfast every morning was beyond wonderful! We even got to meet the namesake of the Villa, Laura. The patio outdoors was a wonderful place to sit and visit and drink wine to end up the day. Be aware there were mosquitos, so bring the bug spray. We totally enjoyed our time there and will visit again in the future.

The villa had an incredible view of the water, It was picturesque. The villa had new accommodations , it was clean and very inviting. Its location had you immersed in local culture and the lemon trees were amazing .the hosts were the best I’ve ever had. The mornings were serene and provided the right environment to start your day . Very close to the local bus that ran from Positano to Nochelle, less than a five minute walk to the bus stop. Convenient local grocery store with everything .

Wonderful experience

We will always remember our time in Montepertuso at Villa Laura. Renato and Antonietta are top class hosts. Amazing breakfast every morning. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Our young kids loved the outdoor Jacuzzi and the view was breathtaking. The village had 3 restaurants in walking distance, a deli and grocery and easy access to transportation to Positano to get on a ferry, go shopping or hit the beach. The family restaurant, La Tagliata, is a must visit. Overall, staying at Villa Laura was the highlight of our 2 weeks in Napoli and Amalfi coast.

Family get away

This is a great location above the town of Positano located on the hillside. The Villa Laura has great views and is located with in walking distance of a general store and 3 great restaurants. It is also location just off the Path of the gods hiking trail. The host provided a 5 star breakfast each day with farm to table fruits, vegetables, meats and local cheeses. They also own a restaurant 5 minutes away that is rated #1 in Positano. It has epic views and amazing service and food. I highly recommend this location. The host were great by helping with drivers and activity recommendations.

Peaceful, mountainside oasis with beautiful views!!

Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laura’s villa a peaceful, mountainside oasis. The villa offers several outdoor spaces with stunning views and thoughtful amenities. The daily breakfast offered was fantastic and the quaint town nearby provides a collection of lovely restaurants just a short stroll from the villa. The family owned nearby La Taggiore was our best and most memorable meal during our stay offering a wide assortment of sumptuous Italian dishes, generous portions and lively atmosphere. It was fantastico! This host and her family were friendly and very welcoming. Laura’s villa was the perfect end to our Italian vacation. Grazie Mille!

Amazing views and hospitality

My wife and I stayed here this August and were blown away by the service and attention to detail. Antonietta, Renato, and the entire family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The views from the villa are incredible, giving you a sweeping panoramic of the sea and the town of Positano. The breakfasts served on the villa's private terrace are a delicious and relaxing way to stay your day, sipping coffee and watching the yachts off the coast. Big shout out to the family restaurant, La Tagliata, which serves an insane amount of delicious food, all cooked up by "mama" and the family. Also a big thank you to "papa," who took us to and from thr train station in Naples. A really outstanding experience made all the better by excellent service.

STAY HERE!

Wow! There are so many incredible things to say about our stay. Have you heard of the viral cooking class at La Tagliata? Well the hosts own that restaurant!!! They were so nice and helpful the entire time we were there and even though we couldn’t get into the cooking class (booked through October!!!) they brought some of that fun to our breakfasts and meals at their restaurant. The view from the property is unreal and the breakfast was sooo good. The place is located about 15 min from the main town so you’ll need to get a cab (50 euros one way) or catch the bus to get down. There’s a bus stop right by the property though so that was helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Positano!!!

This dining experience deserves ten stars, with authentic farm-to-table dishes that were simply divine. Amazing Villa Laura

One of the highlights of stay at Villa Laura was undoubtedly the mouthwatering breakfasts prepared by Renato, a true culinary artist. Each morning, we woke up to a delightful spread of freshly baked pastries, aromatic coffee, and a variety of local fruits. Renato's attention to detail and passion for his craft was evident in every bite, and we found ourselves eagerly looking forward to breakfast each day. But it wasn't just the amazing breakfasts that made our stay at Villa Laura exceptional. Antonietta's gracious and attentive nature truly made me feel like a part of their family. She went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or arranging transportation, her warmth and dedication were unwavering. Speaking of transportation, I have to mention "Papi," the incredible driver that Antonietta recommended. He effortlessly navigated the winding coastal roads. The charming Villa Laura itself was a true oasis of tranquility. Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of Positano, the property offered breathtaking views of the azure Mediterranean Sea. The rooms were elegantly decorated, with a perfect blend of Italian charm and modern comfort. Relaxing Stay, Amazing Views + Great Food

Antionetta + Renato are the most caring people. They went above and beyond on everything we asked during our stay. You feel like you're part of the family yet you are also given space as needed. The food is fresh, delicious and unforgettable. I will always remember the views from breakfast on the patio, hearing the roosters crowing, the smell of fresh air, the sun shining on the ocean below - there's nothing quite like it! Our 6 year old daughter LOVED that she was able to pick fresh lemons + oranges from the trees on their property - we put them in a bowl on the dining room table :) She also loved exploring the farm at La Tagliata - we felt like family there. There are no words to describe the views, aromas, service - it's a feeling of love that will forever linger in our hearts. We hope to return to Villa Laura every year and continue to make family memories. Oh and one last thing - the apartment is so much bigger than we were expecting and it is SPOTLESSLY clean. They take great pride in having a clean home and it shows. Thank you Antionetta, Rentao + Laura for everything!

A perfect second visit to beautiful Villa Laura

The first time we visited Villa Laura we promised we would return one day and we did! This time, we stayed at Villa Laura after a very hectic five days of touring Pompeii and Rome. Our stay was a relaxing ending for our trip. The villa is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Every morsel of food was delicious and ‘breakfast” is a misnomer. Each morning we were served more courses than we would normally have for dinner. We had a repeat cooking class, this time with Renato and his “Mama”. “Papa” (AKA Dos Equis, Renato’s father) was our faithful driver navigating us down the mountain and along the coast. We also re-visited LaTagliata and were greeted by Antonietta’s side of the family. A meal at LaTagliata is a “must” when visiting Montepertuso---you won’t find the variety and quality of dishes at their prix fixe anywhere else. Each time we have visited Villa Laura, we have felt like we were part of their extended family and had a true Italian cultural experience. Antonietta, Renato and their families are such gracious hosts and ensure that your stay is carefree. Laura is following in her parent’s footsteps and gave us the biggest welcoming hugs and “good morning” every day on her way to school. Renato told us each time we visited “this is your home in Italy”. Antonietta’s mantra is “anything is possible at Villa Laura”. Villa Laura is a little piece of heaven on earth!

Amazing Experience and Service

Staying at B&B Villa Laura was a highlight of a beautiful trip - Antonietta and Renato were amazing hosts! The service was top notch - Antonietta met us at the bus stop to make sure we found them, and had a beautiful spread of food and wine waiting for us on arrival. The food was incredible - supremely tasty and fresh ingredients from their gardens, multiple course breakfasts, etc. We never even went to Lunch because we were always so full from the breakfasts! They really treat you like Royalty during your stay. I could not recommend a better place for your trip.

Great week with great hosts

Villa Laura is special. Very spacious, perfectly equipped with everything you might need - and spotlessly clean! Very large kitchen with a lovely view. And of course the garden; it's a gem! This is where we had the "Big Breakfast" every day, overlooking the sea. And not only lots of breakfast: everything is home-grown and fresh, with different treats every day. Delicious! Even better though are the hosts. Attonietta and her husband, in fact the whole family, were unbelievable! Anything we asked for, they got it. Very helpful in every way. A visit to the family's restaurant further up the road is a must - best value for money, fresh and homegrown - prepared by Mama! Difficult to find words....seeing is believing. 5*-recommendation! Thank you Antonietta for everything!

Perfect Experience

My wife and I were hosted by Antonietta at Villa Laura and it was truly a wonderful experience. The communication with Antonietta is the best I have ever had from a host, she was very upfront about describing the villa, costs, and what came with it. She even helped book us a driver to and from Naples. From the moment we arrived, Antonietta made it clear that we were going to be treated like family. They met us at the drop-off spot and helped us with our bags. We had a long day travelling and she brought down plenty of fresh brushcetta, proscuitto, and wine so we didn't have to head out that evening. Breakfast is included and it was incredible. She brought out plenty of dishes, fresh juice, and coffee. Everything is fresh from their family restaurant's garden and tastes delicious. Speaking of the restaurant, I cannot recommend La Tagliata enough. It is right up the road, and is an amazing dining experience. We were treated very well since we were staying with Antonietta. There is a bus that goes from Montepertuso to Positano and also to the Path of the Gods. It's actually extremely nice to be able to escape up the mountain from all of the other tourists and relax in the garden. I cannot recommend this place enough, you will have an excellent stay and find a friend in Antonietta! -The Deans

An amazing Italian vacation experience!

The only reason I gave 5 stars is because there isn't an option to give more. You can read all the reviews about Villa Laura BnB and still not have an appreciation for this incredible experience. It's like trying to take a picture of a mountain. The camera just cannot capture their magnificence, and in the same way my words will fail to capture the incredible experience that you will miss if you don't book with Antonietta and Renato at Villa Laura. Just to level set, I am Platinum for Life at Marriott. Anyone who travels extensively knows that is a reward level that involves a tremendous amount of travel. I've stayed at some of the nicest Marriott properties in the world with work and for vacations. Villa Laura isn't just another bed and breakfast. It's an experience. If you are traveling to Italy to sit by a pool or on the beach and have someone spritz you with a water bottle before you go clubbing at night, then do not book here. However, if you want to immerse yourself into the fabric of an Italian community, and experience the food, drink, and life that the majority of Italians live, then you do not want to miss Villa Laura. Aside from the immaculately clean and comfortable villa, the experience is enriched by the exceptional hospitality of the owners. Antonietta and Renato go well above and beyond to ensure your stay is everything you hope it could be. Antonietta is as accomodating and professional as any resort concierge to help schedule boats, tours and anything else you might need. The gourmet prepared breakfasts they make for you everyday would cost as much at a resort as half of what you will spend to stay here. And the cooking class they did was longer, more personal, more hands-on, and more enjoyable as any we've ever done. I just cannot say enough nice things about this experience. I could fill pages with the little things they did to make our stay pleasant. Needless to say, we were sad to leave and look forward to the time when we can return to stay with them again. Trust me, if you are staying anywhere near Positano, you have to stay at Villa Laura BnB.

Super Host/Fabulous location

The property is absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning. The rooms were delightful. The outdoor space that comes with this property fabulous. There is a table overlooking the water that we were served breakfast on every morning. Renato our host was so fun and attentive to all our needs. You can walk into town via the long staircase that leads down to town. Be aware you will get a leg workout for sure. You can take a bus back to the property instead of doing the stairs back. I would highly recommend booking an extra night there. Especially if you’re there with your partner, such a great place to hang out!

Amazing!

The property and hosts were the best we have encountered. The views are stunning, and Antoinette and Renato are could not have been more friendly and generous. You must stop by their restaurant, La Tagliata, for dinner and more views.

Owners were beyond helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! View from table was great. Overall hospitality made the stay unforgettable.

We are already planning to come back!

I first planned this trip in March 2020, so, a lot has happened since then, and part of that journey for me has been realizing that I wanted to find places that we would develop relationships with and return to over and over. Villa Laura is the one for this year's trip! Antoinetta and Renato were so incredibly kind and thoughtful, the little place is pristine, and their family has a restaurant "La Tagliata" just 3 blocks away. Best breakfast we had in Italy (served outside with the beautiful view), best dinner we had in Italy (with restaurant specialties), and we walked from there to the Path of the Gods (stopping on the way back at La Tagliata for beers and delicious snacks while looking out at the sea, wow, perfection). Antoinetta and Renato helped arrange transfers to and from Napoli, the bus is two blocks away and is like a Disneyland ride (beautiful! with thrilling corners!), and walking down to Positano was also fun, one of the ways down we saw sheep! Incredible. We wish we had been able to stay longer and will make sure to do so next time. Thank you Antoinetta and Renato for everything!

Exceptional stay

We stayed at the villa for two nights in November. We are frequent travelers but I don't recall a time when we felt so welcome by our hosts. The villa is a on the hill, with a beautiful view of the sea and the village. Very serene. The place is well appointed and comfortable. Perfect to relax for a few days. The breakfast laid out by Renato was amazing. It's a family business and you can see the family loves and takes pride in what they do. We are already thinking coming back.

Perfect stay in Positano - hosts cannot be beat!

We stayed at the end of a trip that included stops in Croatia and Rome. We were greeted upon arrival in Positano by Antonietta and Renato - seriously the best hosts you could ever hope for on a trip. Renato carried our bags to the villa (there are stairs so this was greatly appreciated), Antonietta helped book transportation, reservations and COVID testing while Renato prepared incredible meals every morning which were customized based on what we were in the mood for. The villa itself has gorgeous views of the water, is well equipped and the beds were a welcome comfort compared to what we had experienced elsewhere during our journey. I would recommend this location without hesitation - you will literally feel very much part of the family from the minute you arrive. Speaking of family we went to their family owned restaurant one night which offered delicious food but be sure you don't eat the day you go - the amount of food was off the charts.

The best hosts and beautiful property!

Villa Laura is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a huge outdoor garden overlooking the sea. My mother, sister, and I stayed there for 3 nights and Antonietta and Renato are incredible hosts. Antonietta is always available to answer questions and give advice, and Renato makes and serves glorious breakfasts in the garden. Their family also owns a restaurant nearby (La Tagliata) that is a must visit. They host a cooking class, which is hands down one of the most fun experiences of my life. The only very tiny drawback is that it is located in Montepertuso, which is at the top of Positano and requires either an expensive taxi ride or taking the public bus up and down. Both are very easy to do, it just adds some time and expense to the day. There is also a bit of a walk and a decent number of stairs to get to the villa, so it is not a place to stay for anyone with mobility issues. For reference, my mom is 78 and had no issues but did get a bit tired toward the end. I would recommend Villa Laura again and again!
