Escape to this secluded and well-appointed 2-bedroom cabin with all the modern amenities in a serene, tranquil environment! The master bedroom features a lush queen bed with LED lighting and extra under bed storage. The master bedroom also dawns an electric fireplace and a lounger chair to fully kick back and relax. The second (guest) bedroom features a bunk bed with a plush queen mattress on bottom and a full size bed on top. There's a cozy living room with 2 twin futons for extra sleeping and a wood burning fireplace to bring everyone together. The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen in an open concept layout and includes a large island with seating for 4 and bartop seating for 3.

This cabin is perfect for a small to medium group of guests with the ability to sleep 6 comfortably and up to 8 max (extra charges apply). Enjoy the pleasant amenities like central cooling & heating, reliable high-speed Starlink Internet and Wi-Fi, Google TV in every room, and a jetted bathtub in the master bathroom to soak & relax while watching your favorite shows on the Roku TV. The rocking chairs on the covered front patio is great for taking in nature. This property is a short 3-4min drive to Mill Creek Marina where you can launch your own boat or charter a day on Lake Texoma. All the joy of cabin life with upscale amenities including a 21' diameter unheated pool (open during warm months only) built into the full deck to enhance your outdoor entertainment.

Over all stay was good. House was clean. Kitchen had every thing we needed. Linen was fresh and clean. Would have liked to have had a grill. Instructions on how to utilize the outdoor TV. Motion sensored lights in restrooms kept coming on at night with any noise. Water pressure for jet tub was super slow, ended up not using it cause it would have taken so long to fill up.

Great Getaway

Beautiful secluded property that is well taken care of. Everything was as described and we had no surprises with the visit. The host was very detailed with his instructions for accessing all the amenities and went above and beyond to make sure everthing was perfect. We would definately stay again if our business trip takes us back this way.

Great place! I highly recommend. It was very people quiet. The bugs and birds were very vocal, but I love that. Coffee on the porch as the sun comes up is wonderful. If you are a light-sensitive sleeper, bring an eye mask. Everything glows and bathroom lights are on motion sensor. This was my first experience with a "smart" house and it was fun for a weekend.

Surprisingly Posh Cabin & Absolute Gem

I visit Pottsboro periodically to get away from city life. I usually avoid unrated listings but the photos definitely caught my eye. The added welcome discount was also nice which helped make my decision to book a no brainer. I must say, after staying there, I would happily pay full price. The photos drew me in, but I would venture to say the place is a lot nicer in person and indeed very modern. The property appears to be fairly new (i.e., couple years old). There were still stickers on some items throughout. The property has several smart switches, motion lighting, Internet TV, and even a panic button that engages a loud siren, which made me feel really safe (the area gets pretty dark at night). The property does have external security cameras. I was pre-warned about it when I received my door entry code prior to check-in.The kitchen area had a tablet that was used as a smart dashboard. Besides controlling the smart devices, it also supported live view of all cameras so I could get good situational awareness of the property perimeter. The unit was extremely clean and well appointed with everything I could need (besides food of course). The grocery store was conveniently 10-15 mins away. The beds were comfortable and the HVAC worked like a charm and wasn't locked by the host to allow adjustments! Lake Texoma is beautiful. I wish I had brought a boat. All in all, this was indeed a rural gem and I will look forward to visiting this property again in the near future
