“Casa do Monte was delightful. The space was perfect for a large group. The location was very accessible to many sights on the island. Out of town and peaceful. Love the balconies in front and back. Our host met us and was very responsive to our needs. ”

“This home is beautifully decorated and a great highend feel away from home. All of the amenities were great & the home is kept clean. The host was great with communication. My only negative is that the area outside the home has limited dining options other than at small place across the street that closes at 6pm 4 days a week and is more a yummy breakfast or lunch spot (also with kind owners). Also there is no Uber on the island, only Bolt and it's new so it may be hard at times to get drivers...

“Me, myself and I spend one week in this cosy and fully equiped appartment a week in Juny 2021. It was also very quiet, only the ocean waves made sounds. It was very clean. A parking lot belongs to this appartment. I can recommend this appartment for one or two person. Saozhana was very carring and gave me many good recomendations for food and sightseeing.”

“The property met all of the needs of our multi generational family. Great location easy to walk or drive anywhere we wanted to go to! I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelli ng to Sao Miguel. Easy place to get to from the airport and puts you right in the center of the island. Ribiera Grande is the bees knees!!!!”

“Beautiful house, plenty of room. Wish we'd had time to spend there longer than one night. Having to pay the tax at the hotel before getting the code for the house was annoying (didn't have to do that at previous São Miguel accommodations). Code didn't work but when I called, it was quickly fixed. Parking spaces were occupied so we had to park on the very narrow street. Overall, lovely, clean, huge home. Would stay again.”

“Place is ideal for getting to center of city quickly. Little noisy on corner to sleep but overall suitable for what we wanted. Property manager was super super supportive and helpful right from the beginning whish was a huge blessing!!! We stayed 4 nights which was most of our week in the Azores. Good place to get a feel for the area!”
