And man, that breakfast was so good. I loved that I could have overnight oats for breakfast!”

“This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23.”

“The Shadowcrest was a delightful, quiet and wonderful stay. Brendan is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, gracious and one of the best we have come across. The room was a combination of old style Victorian and modern. On a very quiet street. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Check in was easy. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well appointed. Three super minor, small issues: a pan was rusting through, the bathroom fan was broken, and our blinds were stuck. Only blinds no curtains. Loved having an actual kitchenette. Bed was comfy. Plenty of storage. Very quiet. Good wifi. Great location. Would come back!”

The Inn itself was truly charming and we were excited to learn about the history of the house. I have stayed at a good amount of B&B's, and the cleanliness at the Inn was above excellent, spotless! ”
