“I never heard a peep from any other room, which I was totally fretting about. It was very quiet. Nice, spacious room. Good breakfast, coffee all day which I always appreciate! Pool, fitness room, laundry. Decent location...just a 5-10 minute walk to the French Quarter, or a short walk to the French Quarter streetcar (to reach the further parts of the FQ). “Memoir is a strange blend of residential property and hotel. Its association with the Common House adjoining is not very clear, although this is a great asset to the property (note that common house closes at 5pm on a Sunday, so if you’re staying on a Sunday night this is no use to you). My problems are that it wasn’t that clean - the hallways are dirty, residents place their trash in the hallways, and the walls are scuffed both in the hallways and the rooms. “This place was beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice! We were right by everything in walking distance and the parking was right next door! The space was comfy and quiet! We parked and walked to all of our destinations! We definitely will come back to this place ”

“L'hotel è carino e ben tenuto ed è anche pulito ma trovo assurdo che non facciano le pulizie quotidiane e cambio asciugamani, se non dietro richiesta. Rischi di stare una settimana senza che puliscano la camera perché al check in non ti dicono che la pulizia va richiesta! Il personale è molto freddo e quasi scocciato. La colazione poco ricca e il latte era anche acido. È un vero peccato perché l'hotel nel complesso è particolare e carino e sopratutto in ottima posizione ”
