“It was a nice pub originally built in the 1600s. Free parking and they are working on upgrades to the rooms. Our room had been done, but the cleaner had missed a couple of small things (previously opened sparkling water). But the staff was very accommodating and even booked us a table for supper, just in case we decided to have it there. Great service!!”

“We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. ”

“We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special. The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day. “The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. There was a horrid smell of old refuse and greasy food in the communal corridors. The views and location were exceptional. The staff were helpful and lovely. Not the...
