This property is very clean inside and out. We stayed in the penthouse which is plenty big. The pool was very clean as well and had plenty of loungers. The used the kitchenette mostly to make guac and they had a small selection of plates and silverware that actually fit our needs very well. Yes, this property is right on the beach - there is nothing between you and the water but sandy beach. I was worried about being too far from the square, but the Uber taxis were very cheap - usually about 4 for a ride to town and 5 to 7 for the ride back. A walk from the beach to the inclined lighthouse (near the square) is quite doable. The bicycles are in good condition. You'll see more than a little rust on the handlebars, but that's to be expected with the salt air. I appreciated the fenders and chain guard. You can tell when you ride them they are much newer that the rust would make you think. There are places to park a rental car.Stay manager 'Susie' gave us the orientation to our room and property (about 5mins). Pay attention - to what she has to say. We only contacted her once by WhatsApp and she responded in less than a minute. The Internet worked well and would be fine for remote work. I was on it a lot and it did drop out once or twice during our 7 night stay, but only for 3 minutes or so. I only tested the connection for speed and got: 226mb dn, 265mb up. I was expecting mosquitos at dusk, but for what it is worth, I did not notice them.
