“I recently stayed at LEGOLAND Hotel California in a Pirate-themed room, and while my kids were initially very excited, the experience started off on a disappointing note.
Check-in is advertised at 4:00 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until around 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem particularly concerned or apologetic about the delay, which set the tone for the stay.

“Breakfast was good and the fire outside on during the day and evening was wonderful. Pool was clean and warm. The staff was courteous. One thing that would’ve been nice is if coffee had been available in the lobby outside of the breakfast time which it wasn’t. They told me to go up in my room and use the coffee maker there. “A one day getaway is good enough for this place honestly nice lake resort with good restaurants nice pools. Staff some were good one of them was just lazy to do anything for us but overall the rest of the staff was very nice. A lot bugs from the lake tho. “Overall it was a really nice stay, we didn’t spend much time in here aside to sleep. Some of the reviews scared me saying it was a scam, dirty, etc.. but i didn’t think that at all. Our room was super clean, renovated, staff were friendly, provided towels, so on and so on. I think the only thing for me was the bed frame is like springs it’s a bit squeaky but nothing crazy. Overall, we would stay here again! Close to stores, food, freeway, it’s also in a very nice area! ”

“Cleaning staff did great a job.
Rooms are ok, but the bathroom door is so strange. Built like an entry door and hard to open. Makes using the bathroom at night a noisy endeavor.
A/C units are built into the wall. Strange for a modern building. Should have central air. Does ok but doesn’t keep up at times.
They have a laundry room but no detergent and no change (quarters). Why even have a laundry room?
Some staff could be friendlier but shot out to a front desk person. I didn’t catch her...
