“Es ist sehr erfreulich, dass alte Werksgebäude einer weiteren Nutzung zugeführt werden. Das war mal eine andere Erfahrung. Bad und alle Geräte sind neu. Kühlschrank ausreichend groß. Der Öffnungs- und Schließmechnismus ist etwas gewönungsbedürftig, aber dann geht es. Betten waren ebenfalls gut. Nachts war alles ruhig.”

“Grundsätzlich ist diese Unterkunft schön. Liebevoll gestaltet und gut eingerichtet. Moderne verknüpft das alte. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb, aber die Stadt Schirgiswalde ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Leider gab es auch deutliche Schattenseiten. Wir hatten eine Ferienwohnung im EG. Über uns hat anscheinend eine Fusballmannschaft gewohnt. Man hörte jeden Schritt und jedes Gespräch aus der Wohnung über uns. Manchmal war das kaum aushaltbar, und wir haben das Weite gesucht. “The room was comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and featured a spacious bathroom, and a lovely view from the window. I stood there in peace, watching daylight break over the village. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and felt very safe—we slept deeply with the window open. Breakfast was both delicious and filling; I wish I could return just for another one! :) Staying in a historic house made the experience even more special, and I loved learning about its story.”
