“Stayed here for a night on the way to lake District. Very clean and easy to get to. Lots of other stores around it if you need petrol or a quick shopping trip. Breakfast was inclusive and good, though menu was limited.”

“3 nights family stay, the gym is small but well equipped, the location is gorgeous and the housekeeping was outstanding. Breakfast is very good but could improve in terms of variety. The restaurant has a limited menu and is the same of the bar. The service was very slow in general. Wifi was fast and very stable. Excellent value in general for the money .”

“My first time here, as the hotel in Derby where I usually stay was fully booked. The hotel is 1 mn walk from the train station and 5 mn walk from the shopping centre. If you have a car, there is a nice private car park for the guests. I had a single room. Room was fine to be a single, but the bathroom is very small. Also bed is not very confortable. Very good wi-fi connection. Breakfast was ok and same for the restaurant in the evening”

The place had a really welcoming atmosphere.
Staff were wonderful. Including helping me out with the aircon when I couldn't work out how to use it.

“I wasn’t sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. However I had a ground floor room as requested. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and importantly for me the hairdryer was good. The bathroom had a bath with a shower. The overhead shower was powerfully enough and the water was hot. I wasn’t disturbed by noise, it was peaceful. My tv worked. Kettle was clean.
The only downside was my room felt a bit cold. I didn’t ask about the heating, maybe if I had they’d have helped.

Down points are that room was too hot with no means to cool it down and no spoons or stirrers to make the drinks.
Would deffo recommend but if your like me and get hot too quick then ask for a room with aircon.”

“Hotel in pieno centro, arredato con gusto e ben tenuto nelle aree comuni. Stanza non molto grande, ma con un letto molto comodo e due finestre molto ampie e luminose. Bagno molto grande con vasca e doccia. Unia pecca: c'era un'infiltrazione d'acqua dal piano superiore e, quando hanno aperto la doccia, è scesa l'acqua nel nostro bagno attraverso una fessura che si è aperta bel soffitto. "In camera non è stato fatto il letto per il minore. Alla reception ci è stato dato l'occorrente, per il secondo letto, " elegantemente" infilato in un sacco nero dell'immondizia. Il pavimento di tutta la hall e zona colazione è appiccicosa ( da quanti mesi non viene pulita decentemente?). Nel complesso, per una notte, va bene ma ci sarebbe tanto da lavorare..."
