Escape to Glasgows Hillcrest Lodge, a recently renovated old school gem a mere 10-minute stroll from Queenstown's vibrant center. This lovely two-bedroom apartment is a perfect sanctuary for a small family or a group of up to four. The master bedroom, with its plush queen bed, and the versatile second bedroom, which can be arranged with two singles or a king bed, offer a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. This lodge isn't just a place to stay; it's a doorway to creating unforgettable memories in the picturesque landscape of Queenstown. Glasgows Hillcrest Lodge offers an affordable stay and provides everything you need for your Queenstown getaway.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:
The upstairs apartment has a new and modern kitchen that flows into an open plan living area, which is framed by large glass windows, offering unparalleled views across Lake Wakatipu and the mountain vista beyond. Sit back, relax and indulge after a day of exploring magical Queenstown, or create a home-cooked feast with the brand new ammenities and a full-size oven.

IMPORTANT NOTE: BALCONY ACCESS AND ALTERNATIVE OUTDOOR SPACE
As safety is our number priority we regret to inform our guests that the balcony at Glasgow's Hillcrest Lodge is unavailable due to safety regulations. You can still enjoy the outdoors on our sunny patio located on the Lomond Crescent side. It's a great spot for a casual BBQ or outdoor dining.

LOCATION:
Located in the heart of Queenstown, this contemporary property has everything at its doorstep – the Gondola up to the Skyline is within easy walking distance, the town’s famous markets and cafes are a downhill stroll, and of course the lake and its picturesque surrounds is only a stone’s throw away.

RATES:
- Rates are a guide only & subject to change
- Special events and Christmas/New Year’s tariff subject to increased nightly rates and minimum stay
- Public holiday surcharge of applies to all reservations departing on a public holiday
- Additional fees include pre-arrival inspection, house linens, towels and standard departure clean
- Please note that stays of 7+ nights may require mid-stay clean/linen change where additional charges may apply
- Prices are for up to 4 people. Additional beds & linen maybe available upon request – ask reservations
- Minimum age requirement 25 years or older for the leading group member (photo ID required)
- Bond $250

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.

PRIVACY ACT:
The information requested from the guest is to enable Goodstays Ltd to assess the guest’s request to rent the property. The guest does not have to supply this information, but if the guest does not, then Goodstays is unable to rent the property out. The guest acknowledges that Goodstays will collect, hold and use the guest’s personal information for purposes related to the renting of the property and the provision of related customer services, including direct marketing and assessing customer satisfaction with products and services provided by Goodstays. The guest further acknowledges that such personal information may be disclosed to debt collection agencies, insurance companies and/or law enforcement agencies in the possible event of non-payment, damage or theft to the property; and the guest hereby authorises the disclosure of their personal information for such purposes.

You will have access to the entire home.

The Goodstays’ Guest Services department is available via phone or email throughout your stay, 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week, with a 24-hour emergency line.

There is off street parking at the property plus Uber, taxi and bus options in and around Queenstown.

House Rules & Rates:
- For reservations that are outside of 14 days to arrival will only require a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance is then due 14 days prior to arrival.
- Please note our terms and conditions which are also available to view through our Goodstays website
- Minimum age requirement 25 years or older for the leading group member.
- Additional fees include pre-arrival inspection, house linens, towels and standard departure clean
- Prices are for up to the maximum number of guests the property can accommodate. Additional beds & linen maybe available upon request.
- As agreed with the Queenstown Council, the following rules apply: No amplified sound/music is to be played from the outdoor living areas between the hours of 8pm – 8am.

Very happy to have spent 5 days in Queenstown with the view and peacefulness of the surroundings!! We took pictures of the gorgeous sunsets, silver moonlight on the lake, cloud formations- breath taking...We did not have a car but was in good shape for the 15 minute walk to the gondola or 15 minute walk to the start of the Queenstown wharf. Warning to those without a car and in a deconditioned physical state- this might not be the best place to stay unless you are open to having food delivered or calling a taxi/Uber. The last 15 feet of the hill to the house is a workout. Refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, toaster looked relatively unused. Beds, bedding were comfortable. Excellent temperature controlCommunication with property management was excellent (I had a package arriving and worried about the delivery because it was a bit difficult to identify the place when we first arrived).If I was to recommend an improvement, it would be to outline specifically what items are considered recyclable for the house. The bins in town seemed more restrictive than what is outlined by the city.

The two-bedroom property served the purpose for our holiday with terrific views over the lake. The property is located at the top of a very steep road, which could be an issue if you don't have a car. The accommodation would benefit from more storage space in the bedrooms.
