“Only complaint, the blackout drapes were almost two feet too short. I had to barricade the windows with couch cushions to block the lights entering at the floor level up to two feet high. It would’ve been nice to have a light switch to turn off lights on the terrace (never found one). That issue aside, bed comfort was decent with a variety of pillows. “Great location and close to great restaurants. While pet friendly it was difficult to find a doggy potty area. The bathroom had had a leak that was barely patched and the bath had no fan. The parking was valet and we thought our car was parked in an enclosed area but we later saw it in a school parking lot.”

“We loved our room and the property. Our only complaint was the breakfast. It did not look like the pictures and while a lot of fresh fruit there were no breakfast meat or egg option. . I was looking forward to the bagels and salmon shown in the picture. It would not deter us from coming back at all, will just be prepared next time to have other breakfast options. ”

“The closers on the doors are so harsh, they rattle your ear drums. It is difficult to sit in the lobby and read with the doors banging all of the time. Even the checkin clerk has a door behind him that goes bang all of the time. Children under 10 would have a hard time even getting out of a room, in case of fire.”

“This is a very nice hotel. It is small, quiet and relaxing. The grounds are well kept with Adirondack chairs and other comfortable chairs around the property. “We have stayed with this Comfort Inn, Chestertown, MD location in the past. Breakfast is handy, nearby grocery store and eateries are convenient. Farmers Market on Saturday and trendy Mom & Pop shops are close by. The staff are efficient and ice machines are abundant along with a washer/dryer (coins required) are an appreciated touch not to mention plenty of hot water for the shower. Best of all the pool has been scrubbed sparkling clean up and running beautifully...that was a real happy...
