“The hotel had been renovated recently but the room I was in had not been updated. The bathroom had a very old sink and toilet and the towel holder was rusty. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and there was a mini-fridge. The lobby area was clean and the staff was very friendly. There is an extra fee to pay for their parking lot and it's a little difficult to navigate the lot but as parking in the area is very limited, it's necessary to deal with.”

On arrival we had been waiting ~10 min for a moment when girl on reception would finish a telephone call to her friend. As I heard she spoked Russian by phone, I started to speak Russian with her as well, but she told she doesn't understand me and we continued on English. hmm... o_0”

“First, the good: The location was great. Quick walk to the beach, plenty of quick-stop type of places for ice and other items (you definitely need to order a sandwich at Anthony’s Liquors!). Short drive to lots of restaurants and other entertainment. The kitchen was well-appointed (bring coffee filters!) and the furnishings comfortable. The not-so-good: The floor was really grubby. My 10 month old grandson’s feet and hands were black within 15 min of crawling around on the floors, despite them...

After driving 14 hours from Wisconsin to drop my daughter off at Howard University, my family and I arrived exhausted and looking forward to relaxing. Instead, we have encountered a series of unacceptable problems. First, the garage key was missing from my check-in envelope. While customer service offered a reimbursement for alternative parking, I should not have to pay out-of-pocket for an amenity I already covered....
