“Busy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. Excellent choice if you are in need of a room in the Cotswolds at a sensible price ”
“A lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.”

Breakfast was excellent, staff were superb and the evening food was great quality and value! A fabulous break and about half the price of many other Cotswold places we looked at - would highly recommend and would love to return”
“Great views from the bar and garden, and perhaps some rooms though not ours as we were facing out the back. Rooms are clean and functional but nothing to write home about, with bathrooms not dissimilar to the toilets in a school 20 years ago. Nevertheless, a good night's rest and great location if you're playing golf and the nearby Cleeve Hill golf course. ”
