“You could hear EVERYTHING from the hall and adjoining rooms. We finally put towels and pillows at the bottom of door to help muffle the sound. We only saw 1 employee the entire stay though he was very nice it took us over 20 minutes to check in (even though I had already registered via the online form they sent me). “This hotel is currently under major renovations. We were told we were some of the first guests to stay during their "soft opening". We stayed in the king room with the soaking tub and it was delightful. Upon checkin, we were offered by Keith to have our bags carried up, as the elevator is currently out of service. “Having a room with a double and 2 twins made all of the difference for us. This was a great spot for the price. The room was clean. The property is a little run down, but overall I would recommend. It is very easy to walk Lake Placid from this location. The room itself was very comfortable- lots of space with a small table and a couple of chairs. Easy self check in and check out.”
