“The Alice hotel is an oasis for the road tripper. Although a motel, thus is a serious structure with concrete floors and cinder block walls. Our room did not face the highway but although I am a very light sleeper, I did not hear a noise from neighbors or traffic. That was without using the supplied earplugs.
The rooms have been gut-renovated with a Palm Springs boutique vibe. They are still working on some items. For instance the shower glass had not been installed yet and a temporary shower...

“This is clearly a live-in hotel as some of the places were very warn and old looking. There was a hole in one of these windows with signs of aging telling me it had been there a while. Our room was aged but in good condition. Water was not hot but aside from that I have no complaints about the room or the staff. Staff were kind. ”
