It stands in a peaceful and quite setting, enjoying open views of the most fascinating stretch of coast with lemon groves terraces, views of the villages of Minori and of Maiori, the hamlet of Torello and Ravello in the distance. It is another face -secret, unusual, stimulating- of a territory that has always drawn and enchanted visitors from all over the world. This unspoiled village of scattered houses spread along the ridge of the Lattari mountains, right above the Amalfi drive cliffs, is the alternative to the well-known seaside resorts of the Amalfi Coast. It rapresents a rural escape, unspoilt by mass tourism and offers beautiful walking itineraries, breathtaking views, mild climate, reclusive atmosphere.

Antico Casolare is a three-story building made of 3 separate units. They can be rented separately to accommodate couples/small families or combined with the others to accommodate families/groups up to 9 people. Perfect holiday home for a family holiday or a romantic escape , it is the perfect place for relaxing moments after a frenetic day visiting the many highlights of the Amalfi Coast.
Antico Casolare is 3,5 kms from the main square of Ravello, Piazza Vescovado , which houses coffe shops, great restaurants and pizzerias, groceries shops and the SITA bus stop to reach Amalfi, Positano, Salerno, Sorrento etc etc
The amazing views are worth the 220 steps to get to the accommodation so please read the description carefully before booking. We want to make sure you enjoy a stay that meets you expectation.

Accommodation:
The attic accommodation is at the top of the building . There's everything you need in the attic to have a good level of comfort and be independant.

It has a separate entrance and is not connected internally to the other two units . It is made of :
- large sitting room equipped with a divan that unfolds into a bed ( suitable for an extra guest ) , a dining table , a TV set and a cooking area equipped, with a four-burner electric cooker, a small electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle
- bedroom with a matrimonial bed, windows with views and ensuite half -bath with a toilet and washbasin
- bathroom with toilet , washbasin, shower and washing machine
- private garden/terrace equipped with a table, chairs, two sun loungers and outdoor shower
Facilities: air conditioning, kicthen corner, wifi internet access, washing machine, dishwasher , iron and ironing board)
Private parking space suitable for 1 small/medium sized cars is available

Access:
From the rood, you need to go down a public walkway that includes approximately 220 stairway steps.
From the main entrance door, you need to walk up other 17 steps to reach the attic accommodation

Distances: The house is 3,5 kms from the main square Piazza Vescovado which houses coffe shops , restaurants , groceries shops and pizzerias .
Amalfi and the beaches are just a bus-ride away (25 min.). The stop for blue SITA buses is at the entrance to the tunnel outside the Garden Hotel.

From Amalfi and Minori , boats and hydrofoils ply between Positano, Sorrento, Capri and Salerno. The services to Napoli and Ischia operate only during the spinning Summer season.
