“Let down by parking as you have to pay 12 dollars a day as nowhere else to park plus pain at night if you go out tlii late as barrier has a mind of its own. No supermarket below as shut down a while ago but petrol and hungry jacks across road and a couple of restaurants below apartments ”

“Clean and lovely room. Pillows were great, unfortunately bed was very low and hard mattress. Staff at the front desk was very welcoming and explained in detail all directions to a tee. Thank you, Irene Emans”

“This hotel started by taking my CVC in breach of the PCI-DSS standards and have now, rather than refunding my security deposit, finalised the charge. If you intend to use this group, watch your back. I am not convinced of their honesty.”

“A few upgrades to rooms is great”

“I had booked a King room to accommodate myself, my husband, and our infant son, and I had confirmed this preference twice before arrival. However, at check‑in we were given a Queen room and told the only available King room had a faulty AC, which wasn’t suitable in the summer heat. “Good stay for just overnight, had most of what you need, except toothpaste. Toilet seat was not on properly and didnt even fit the bowl evenly. Otherthan that it was fine overall for just one night. Staff were great, very polite.”

“The property was a basic chalet. We stayed there for 5 nights I believe and it was a very busy weekend in Melbourne with the Formula 1 Grand Prix and labour day on Monday which meant the Moomba festival was also on that weekend. The chalet is situated in a campsite. Transport to go to the city was easy enough with a bus just outside the campsite entrance. The chalet was very small but I knew that when I booked it. “Had a fantastic stay at Punthill Sunshine. The room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The kitchen was well-furnished, which was a nice bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated the complimentary still and sparkling water. Highly recommend!”

“Evening meal was very good with generous portions. The staff were friendly and efficient. On the down side the bar and restaurant area were too cold to be comfortable. The room was okay but the pillow was too fat to be useful and there was only one to choose from. Toiletries were basic with no body lotion, which meant locating some amongst packed luggage which was an inconvenience. Great to have flight info screens in the reception area.”

“Insgesamt gut, gerade was das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis betrifft. Für das Geld völlig in Ordnung. Sauber, nicht zu groß, die Bäder sind gut ausgestattet und auch sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber auch hier für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Die Lage ist ok, Parkplätze sind durch den Pendlerparkplatz direkt nebenan mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Zu Geräuschempfindlich sollte man allerdings nicht sein, es ist doch relativ viel zu hören. Was wirklich nervig war ist die Matratze....
