“Nuansa Penida is more like a Hostel Resort. They greet you with a cold towel, fruit and juice. The dorms are very nice, clean and the bathroom is the greatest I’ve seen on Bali. The beds are comfy and everything is kept clean on a daily basis. The family that runs the hostel could not be nicer. Breakfast is good and the offered lunch/dinner options are delicious. I definitely recommend staying here!”

“This place feels like home. I had a long visit to Bali and actually ended up staying in Bali Caps for over a month. I just couldn’t think of any good reason to leave. “Can highly recommend this hostel! Nice rooms with a comfortable bed and plenty of space for your suitcase and other things. Clean toilets and shower area. The pool area is big with great sunbeds all over and lots of space. Opportunity to do yoga included in your price in the morning on the rooftop. Some very nice instructors. And you can do a 20 min massage every day. Also very good quality. Food and drinks are also good so you can for sure have breakfast included in your price. I enjoyed...

“Dejligt hostel med fremragende morgenmad. Placering er lidt upraktisk i forhold til at skulle gå da det ligger ud til en meget trafikeret vej. Men man kan vel ikke både få god udsigt fra poolen og ingen trafik på vejene!”

“There is a mosque near by with loudspeakers. The rooms are fairly soundproof between rooms, but the doors can be heard opening & closing at all hours as the 20-30 yr olds mingle. Bright stylish rooms but the old wood around the communal kitchen sink lets one know that maintenance isn’t a priority. The pool is in front and smaller than pictured. Lots of lounging seats in the lobby and pool area. Staff are super helpful with luggage up & down stairs. Because it’s so close to the airport, grab cars...

“とても素敵な施設&滞在でした。 チェックイン後は丁寧なツアーもしていただきました。ですが、ソーラーパネルでまかなえる総ワット数&施設での毎月使用している電力量、雨水や廃水の総量、濾過循環方法、スバックについて等など、質問に対して回答がいただけなかったのは残念でした。 部屋のゴミの分別ができるような形であったり、無料のコーヒーやお茶があったり、欲を言えばコンポストトイレがあったりしたら宿泊者には嬉しかったです。”

“DO NOT GO HERE. I’ve been to a couple hostels in Bali now and do understand some are nicer than others but this one is disgusting. Me and my friend were put in a room that the ceiling is falling apart, no AC and shared a room with workers which was uncomfortable. Woke up with so many bites. The bathrooms are covered in spiders and frogs. We made it through one night and left automatically in the morning. Would absolutely not suggest.”

“I had a lovely stay! One thing I might recommend, is making the opening times for the bar/breakfast area more visible, there were a few times when we checked for cocktails and it wasn't open. Other than that, 10/10 stay! Thank you very much! ”

“A parte da piscina e de convívio é muito boa, o pequeno almoço tem várias opções e são ok por 3 euros. A cama é confortável, os quartos sao bons e tem bastante espaço as guardar as malas. O único senão são as casas de banho que são mistas, estão sujas e pouco cuidados, as pessoas deixam as embalagens de shampoos vazios que não são retiradas, deixam as escovas de dentes e giletes em todo o lado. Acho que o hostel nesse aspeto podia ter uma política mais restrita. ”

“Ruime kamers met mooie entree en prima ontvangst. Helaas was de badkamer erg verouderd en het bad en de wastafel alles behalve schoon. De airco was stuk op onze kamer.”

“Soggiorno piacevole, mi aspettavo una doccia al coperto oltre a quella esterna... in caso di pioggia sarebbe stato un po’ complicato. Il ristorante è ok, forse mi aspettavo qualcosa in più. Resort molto bello e personale sempre disponibile e molto gentile. L’unica nota negativa era il costante odore a mio parere poco gradevole all’interno delle stanze, forse dovuto all’umidità. ”

“Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
