Comfortable beds, functional kitchen, large dining space and plenty of room for lounging — though we were very busy and didn’t spend much time lounging. Close enough to walk to everything downtown. The decor of the house was fun and interesting — we all loved it. ”

“My 10 year-old son and I had a wonderful stay. Margret, the host, was kind, thoughtful, and warm. We loved the house. It is charming, tasteful, and well appointed. Upon arrival, we found fresh flowers, fruit, pastries, yogurt, and a bottle of wine. The location is convenient and walking distance to most of the major sites in Reykjavik. My son was especially enchanted by the sleeping loft. We truly loved our stay. ”

“My family of 5 stayed at Ursula’s lovely home for our short visit to Iceland. The home was great for us to have family time, but also our own space to wind down at the end of a busy day. The kitchen was a dream to cook family meals in and my adult children loved the hot tub and close walk to the ocean. It was a wee bit of a drive to Reykjavík, but so worth it. Ursula was kind, responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!”
