“We visited Liverpool on one of the most expensive weeks of the year (due to Liverpool FC's parade and the May Bank Holiday music festivals), so chose to stay in Stockport, a few miles up the coast from Liverpool, where accommodation is far better value for money, and it's quieter.
If you don't want to drive into Liverpool city centre, there's a very regular railway service (every 15 minutes) between the two towns, and parking at Stockport station is only £3.95 for 24 hours when using the NCP...

“8 adults and 1x 8 yr old family members stayed 26tb July.. Our roms were all comfortable and we got no noise from outside or in the corrudors. Elderly parents had a wet room bathroom which we had requested. Perfect!

“Nice and clean, everything you needed including a fan (it was very hot) shampoo and conditioner were really good. Most hotel shampoo’s make my hair dry. The ones provided didn’t do that. ”

Our room (15) was large with plenty of drawers, a fridge, excellent shower with hot water, and sliding doors leading on to a patio area that led into the garden. This was perfect for our dog. “Checked in with a woman i know was the manager bit kept telling me she wasn't the manager which i found dodgy straight away ,in the pictures rhey dknt show you the main door is all rotten ans wood is actually falllen off ,the walls are all dirty the smell of cooking was overpowering ,no wifi code given nothing, when walkimg into room it looks lovely at first then you start noticing ahaim dirty walls ,window sills ,the shower whaat a joke it actaully flooded the full toilet my husband caught the...

“Its easy and quick check in. You can leave your bags if you come bit quicker. Host is honest and easy to talk to. Front garden/smoking area is nice place to chill if you dont want to sit inside + rooms are big. Host always makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. ”

“Place is managed by one man Tom who was very nice ...Owner was off to Birmingham as we arrived and another lady disappeared when I spoke to her so not much of a welcome . Place needs work and cleaning tbh ... Basic standards are a must especially in a town with so much competition.. Hotel had two names which doesn't help.Think we were the only ones there but we were the only ones for breakfast ... Took a while to get any response from anyone as place was deserted but got there in the end ...Tom...
