Baite a Riverton

“Great little cabin in a convenient location for hiking and climbing at Seneca Rocks. Communication was excellent, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. A great base for exploring the area.”

“The property is clean and conveniently located.”

“We were a 4-person group of guys in our late 60s, there for a 5-night stay. The property met our needs, and it was very comfortable. Just minor issues. Got different wifi credentials prior to the trip, which could've been a disaster as there is no cell signal at the house. But the host did provide the proper connection info prior to arrival. The spiral staircase to the loft bedroom is very narrow and steep. Older guests should be aware of this. Some of the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in...

“Beautiful cabin in a remote yet convenient location. The view from the back porch/deck was amazing. A very relaxing place to come after a busy day of hiking and sightseeing.”

“We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). The WiFi worked the whole time we were there which was very helpful when mapping out our hikes. Plenty of...

“Overall this was an excellent stay. Couple of things would have been nice conveniences, for example, extra blankets, tissues, paper for the fireplace or a fireplace starter. The cabin had a tub, but no shower, which was slightly disappointing. The cabin was clean and comfortable otherwise. We were able to do exactly what we wanted, which was to disconnect for a few days!”

“I found the Rusty Lantern is a beautiful home in the mountains. The rear porch is large with an awesome view. The large kitchen makes preparing meals simple. There is a large table in the kitchen and a huge picnic table on the back porch. The house and porches were perfectly clean, not a spider web in sight. If you want quiet, and I mean really quiet, the Rusty Lantern is for you.”

“Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough...

“Everything was as expected. Thank you.”

“The cabin was exactly what was listed. The host was one of the best that I’ve ever met. Very personable. He made it a point to talk to us to make sure everything was ok. Showed us some other spots on the property that looked to be amazing as well. I highly recommend to give this a try. If you like the outdoors and great customer service, you’ll be very happy here. Have a good time :)”
