Hotel a Roaring Creek

“Average, I was double bill for 2 rooms that my friend already paid for. Left message with staff, no one called back. Had to file dispute with my credit card.”

“We enjoyed our quick stay at the Hampton Inn in Elkins. It's close to the downtown restaurants and stores. They had a decent breakfast, no one left hungry. The pool was small, but the kids really enjoyed swimming. They have a gym open 24hrs with a good variety of weights and workout equipment, all in good condition. The room was a good size and seemed clean. I would stay here again, if I'm in the area.”

“The door was broken and I had a room with no view at all. It backed into someone’s else windows. I’ve stayed in this hotel several times and had wonderful experiences . However this time I was so disappointed .”

“The staff was nice and friendly the room was ok it was right next to the pool and smelled of chlorine all the time. Would of liked the place better if it was in a different location kinda like a old industrial area”

“The surrounding area was very dirty. Cigarettes everywhere, dust. Seems that they don't really clean and they have also construction items everywhere. The pool was disgusting, water was green. My room smelled pretty bad, like humidity and dirt. I had to buy a room refresher for it. Bed was comfortable and bedding sheets was cleaned. But I did find some small death cockroaches and spiders in the room. Front desk staff was ok. Breakfast was alright, not to bad for the place. I've being eating at...

“The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and they were very accommodating and understanding of us having to cancel our last night due to the weather back home.”

“Very clean-- nice area to really relax. I just had to get a board to fit across right when you start up the ramp.cause a big hole. I had my special needs son with me so that wasn't safe for him. But everything was excellent. Oh need a handheld shower head. My son sitting on chair and it was very hard to wash him. He is 36. But loved the setup.”
