“The hotel smelled very nice when you walked in from the front door. The room and bathroom was clean & it had scope, toothpaste, toothbrush & 6 large towels in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable & the price was right. The room was warm & cozy. ”

“The rooms are spacious and clean. Rooms on the street side can be noisy from the traffic. The area outside seems a bit unsafe. 10 mn walk to Penn station Newark with good connections to New York City. Breakfast has good options. We didn’t have a safe in our room. ”

This is a charming converted multi-story home, very old-school in its bones, but updated for wifi, chargers, etc. Nicely appointed, two quiet blocks from downtown Summit. Real staff on site--not a tie-line to some national headquarters. Staff goes home at 6 but is close by and available by phone if needed.
