The Maury River Treehouse
Welcome to The Maury River Treehouse. Luxury timber frame cottage sitting on the banks of the Maury River. Construction built almost entirely by local craftsmen this is truly a show stopper. Located a short 9 miles from Lexington, Washington and Lee and Virginia Military Institute. It's a fisherman's friend, paddlers paradise or just a relaxing retreat! The timber frame construction, stone fireplace and gourmet kitchen will take your breath away. You wont want leave!
The space
This cozy cottage has it all. Wait till you wake up in the king size bed push a button and your automatic blackout blinds open to reveal the flowing waters of the Maury River. Walk into the bathroom where you will find a custom walk in shower and heated floors. Brew a cup of coffee and sit on the deck watching the river flow by and deer, foxes, ducks, blue herons, hawks and even a bald eagle enjoy their mornings. Sit on the bank of the river or even in the river if you like, cast a line or get in a kayak. After a day on the river come home and rinse off outside because there is nothing like showering in a outdoor shower looking at the river! Wind-down while you cook dinner and sit by the fireplace. This really is an amazing place!
