Hotel a Rockwell

“Loved the kitchenette option which had a few fishes to use. Bring your own seasonings. Deck with chairs was pleasant. Room was clean and easy to find.”

“Definitely needs some updates and maintenance. Bathtub repairs. Window screens. Put more than one set of towels in the room.”

“We were in the building with one other guest! It was quiet and very comfortable! The breakfast meal was superb! The young woman that prepared the food was an artist! I have never had an omelet so light and tasteful! The Rose Room had a private balcony, that allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the weather! I definitely will stay there again!”

“The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He moved a fily with a barking dog to a different part of the hotel. He also, when we had trouble with the remote for the TV came and helped us manage finding TV stations.”

“Hotel had a smell, couldn’t figure out what it was. Bed was very hard. Somewhat on the noisy side for a weekend. I guess you get what you pay for.”

“Arrived just after 10PM. Check-in was good. Our room was terrible! Extremely damp and had an overpowering musty aroma. AC did no good and contributed to the bad aroma. The pillows and linens were damp as a result of the extreme humidity in the room. There appeared to be a desktop dehumidifier present that was not working. Carpet was old and puckered in places. Walls were damaged from PTA which I recorded on my phone. Toilet did not flush, however I was able to fix that. Hot tub did not work. I...

“Check in was easy and very friendly.”

“Im sure the staff are trying their best, but immediately upon receiving my key... it did not work. I went back downstairs to be given a new key but was given a new room (not a big deal). I struggled to get into the property with that key too, but eventually the door opened. Once in the room was a lot cleaner than expected, but my husband was complaining about a strong odor (I lost my sense of smell a long time ago). “The major disappointment was the lack of maid service. We were only there for 3 nights and no one cleaned the room.”

“Hot tub and pool closed and wasn’t notified. Building needs work outside. Parking lot needs striped. Smoking area should not be so close to entrance.”
